Hi fellows,

I must say that I have had no problem of finding girls in Hanoi.

If you rent a motorbike and then drive around in the city, you will find the places very easy.

I have done hot toc's, moto-girls and brothels and so far I just have one really bad experience. That was when I was robbed during a BJ in the shower. I was a newbie then, and I forgot to lock the door my self.

After that occasion, I just bring out exactly the money I have thought of spending for the night. I leave cell, wallet and other personal belongings at home.

I try to pay after service is performed, but in some cases when the girl is refusing to get paid after service and she is to beautiful to resist, I say to them that I will pay a bonus if I get happy.

If it's a knock out girl, I often return to the girl even if they don't perform as well as I had wished the first time. I give them a bonus of 50 000 dong (peanuts) and decide a second date before we split up. In all the cases this has been the ice-breaker and had made them to totally change their attitude.

MOTO-GIRLS

Start driving at10 pm on the big road near the river, Than Quang Khai, you can't miss all the girls near the road. On Pho Phuc Tan (the parallel street near the big road), you can find both girls standing on the street and also girl-friendly mini-hotels for 100 000 dong per hour. I pay 200-500' for fs, offer depending on looks.

HOT TOC'S

On Nguyen Binh Khiem there is a an excellent hot toc with a lot of great girls to choose between. In the hot toc near the beginning of the street, there is a girl called Phung that gives great BBBJCIM. Great D-tits.

100 ticket+200 for the service. It's also possible to decide fj with her on a mini-hotel for 800. She is well worth the money. Looks 8 of 10 on my looks scale, attitude 10. I will upload photo of her later on, I forgot my usb.

BROTHELS

Many brothels north of the Tay Ho-lake. Other members have written about them before. I think they are on Duong Loc Long Quan street, if not that one, it's a parallel street. Just to choose a brothel, you will notice where to knock on the door when you are there.

If your source is the LP guide books, then most likely the place is legit. Remember that alot of Asians from various countries (both men and women) do go to MP's for legit massages only, for some it's in their culture. Although I may be able to confirm late this year when I'm there (VN) for 1st time and if I'm actually able to find this place.

Read back over 18months on this thread and found some mention of these brothels but have anyone gone there recently and got updated prices for these places? Like to get good info so I could have a starting point for neg. without getting ripped off or driving up the prices for others.
Last mentions, the prices varied widely ;anywhere from 150k-500k, so not sure what is the correct figures are.

Any advice on whether I should rent a motobike while in Hanoi or just use taxi/buses etc. to get around.
1) what are the requirements for motobike rental, such as needing an Intl. drivers license? or will a regular driver license at home do?
2)prices for bike rental.
3)places to rent motobike from?
4)any safety precautions such as traffic and such as bike theft?--I rented in Cambodia and theft of bikes were rampant even with bike locks.

PT[/QUOTE]Just pop in any hotel (love hotel) alongside the To Ngoc Van road (parallel road of Dang Thai Mai rd which is the road to TayHo hotel). Just ask the waiter for a FS (use finger signal if he doesnt speak English), then all you have to do is wait in the room and choose your favourite chick from around 5 nominations showcase at the corridor. The price is 200K (VN Dong) for local and around 300-350K for foreigner if my memory battery is ok.

I prefer the former (rent a motorbike) coz as you appear as white man here, some taxi drivers (even meter ones) are tend to rip you off. Drive a motorbike here is not tough as you thought. Just ask the hotel's staff or find the rental place in the Old quarter. Regarding the bike theft, just rent the cheap and old one (Honda 50-100cc).

Yeah, tried this in Cambodia also but problem was these old, tired bikes were always dying out, also power sucked.
Could never get into the flow of traffic from a dead start as no acceleration at all. Ladies walking with babies were passing me by--ha ha

Note: I agree with TJhooker report on Hanoi Viets in general. Watch your back.

I will be a first time visitor to Hanoi in May and wanted to know of a good, clean, girl-friendly hotel in the Old Quarter for approx US$15-30, close to knock shop, barber shops etc. Any info much appreciated!

I was on a business trip to Hanoi during the time mentioned. I looked for some fun in the evening hours and became very dissapointed.

I stayed in the Sofitel Metropol (there are two of them, the other is the Plaza). The Hotel is nice, but a little expensive in my opinion. Girls are not allowed (didn't tryed it yet, but I was told so)

The Massage Parlors around the cathedral (near Hoa Kiem Lake) offering a good massage, but thats all. Prices are around USD 9,.- for 90 min.

I walked many miles to see some karaoke or other places to "hide", but they all was closed during my stay.

So I looked for the "Motorbike-Gilrs". I just walked the streets between the Opera and the Hilton (Near to Sofitel) and tryed to figure out what happen.

Soon a Girl stopped (First look: 5 out of 10) and asked for 20 USD in a Hotel nearby. OK, lets go. As we reached, she undressed me and laid my trousers and shirts near the bed. While she was riding me (with condom ofc) she somehow managed it to slip her hands into my jeans on the bed and stole my pocket money. (About USD 40,.-) She only left some dollars for me to come back with a taxi. Greedy little biXXX. But astonishing skilful in pikcpocketing. Nvm, I learn from mistakes.

The other day I did the same route, walking around Opera/Sofitel/Hilton and Tran quang Khai and tryed two more girks. (Still 5 out of 10 and no nice fuck) I enconterd that VND 300. 000 are enough for blowing and banging in the warm bed Hotels (very dirty places indeed) and so I only bring that amount with me. This time they beging for more money but I didn't had and the girls brought me back to the Sofitel after the job was done.

I will return in mid-April, maybe somebody can give me some informations about nice places or telephonenumbers of good looking girls in Hanoi (here or with PM).

But never saw anything that looked like a brothel on or near that road. What do they look like? What should we look out for?

I know the places near the Sheraton in Hanoi - such as the guesthouses on To Ngoc Van with the guys calling you in from the street but have never seen anything like that on Loc Long Quan.

glitter, 61, whose real name is paul francis gadd, is being held in the resort city of vung tau, where he has lived since march. he allegedly committed "obscene acts with a minor". detectives confirmed that the singer, who served two months in prison in britain in 1999 after being convicted of paedophilia, is still being held but declined to comment on whether he would be prosecuted.

the authorities decided to hold gadd after questioning a 15-year-old girl they found living in his home last week. the former singer had already fled by then, reportedly with a 14-year-old girl who described him as her husband.

the foreign office confirmed that a briton was being detained in vang tau, 50 miles from ho chi minh, but declined to identify the person. if prosecuted for consensual sex with a minor, gadd could face 12 years in prison.

child protection experts say vietnam is becoming increasingly popular with foreign paedophiles because neither the authorities nor the public have much experience of them.
