What Country has the Best Women for LTR?

Gt, I have a couple of colleagues (I should say ex-colleagues, after my retirement) who absolutely raved about the beauty of Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian coast. This despite the fact that the neighborhood was far from at its best when they were there, and they sure as hell weren't there on holiday.

I may want to take a look at property values there. But another possibility comes to mind; the Hvar Archipelago, between Split and Dubrovnik, is renowned as a yachtsman's paradise. And from the deck and cockpit of a nice sailboat, the whole Adriatic becomes your backyard and swimming-pool. Adds to the challenge, though: Finding a honey with a cute tush AND good sea-legs.

I read some answers here that say "south america" as the best place for LTR. How about more specifically, say Brazil?

The yacht idea is another one of my fantasies - didn't know if you were the nautical type. The upside of this is yachts scream "money" - which is the signal you want to send, plus you can up anchor and split anytime things get too complicated and you want fresh blood. Plus the natural uniform for your guests starts as a bikini - so you don't have far to go to get down to bare essentials. The downside is it can get pretty hot and steamy in a boat (and not always in a good way) and quarters are rather confined.

You idea of moving further out, to the archipelago, may work against you if this is not a natural destination for dyevs. You need to be located near a destination for cheap holiday charters from EE countries, so scantily-clad dyevs can admire your yacht from a crowded beach, dreaming of the luxe lifestyle, so enticingly within reach...

Still, it'd probably be a good investment and now is certainly better than 5 years from now methinks.

Bossa Nova is a MacGregor 26X, what all-too-many yachties consider as "trailer-yacht trash. " She isn't quite enough "yacht" to impress the ladies, at least not in Annapolis, but a wise sailor starts modest and works his way up to something worth admiring.

And there could be my own version of a sailing getaway, the "bareboat charter" (what a delightful concept, but unfortunately it's not what comes first to mind. "Bareboat" just means hired without a crew, and [I]you[/I] do all the work.) There are quite a few sailboats and yachts available for charter in the southern Adriatic, such as at Dubrovnik or Split. It's an adventure worth exploring.

Sure it's not really a yacht, but with a wannabe yacht I think you can still pull wannabe yacht-girls. The girls who have finely calibrated taste in yachts and other trappings of wealth are beyond your reach. But there are lots of other fish in the sea.

Your market is in girls who want a taste, however modest, of the "good life". Your boat is good enough bait to lure in the entry level girls. You are not fishing in Annapolis, that is the whole point. When the fish are plentiful and hungry any bait will do...

The writer of this report am now soon up to 50 encounters (almost exclusively in Europe), and I would like to share the following experencies. First of all, I want to say I completely agree with Helgae. He is totally true. But this thread is about LTR.

I am 32 and I visited 15 countries. I would like to share here my experience about LTR. I come from West Europe. I grew up there, then I traveled for my job. More than anything, traveling helped me to see how bad the western women were in a LTR.

I can see know this general trend in western countries of neglected women. It means they don't take care of their bodies, they have vulgar clothes, not so fresh appearances and all the lifestyle that come after that.

I never heard about so many divorces and bad relationship. (My uncle found a woman through a dating website and finished with a 70, 000 euros debt). Those stories are the same in Texas, France, Germany or UK.

Even when married, western women have very high expectations today. They push the family cell to always live above their real purchasing power. Madam wants the BMW, the 1 million.

So some people can say I m doing a cliché. But, now, try to find a happy couple who have a simple life. Those couples are today a minority.

So let s come to the thread topic. In the world today, South America is always a guarantee. Russia is always a good place. Far east europe (Not central europe. From Lettonia to Ukraine. On the other hand, I want to point out Asia is sinking down. The asian girls are now less nice that it was before. Nevertheless there are exceptions, like China, Corea and Japan that become better place for LTR. Especially in China. (don't trust the TV that show you famers there are incredibly good looking Chinese girls).

North Africa is also less interesting than it was before.

I am taking my experience from women I met. Actually I have been surprised to meet women from Morocco, Manila and Malaysia who had the same profile than Euro. North american women. (very high expectations, goldminers.)

I have spent lots of time in various places in Asia over the past decade (having completely given up on Western women a long time ago, long story) and would like to second the opinion that China is good. But going downhill as the prosperity increases and the women get spoilt and develop often unrealistic expectations. I have buddies who have been badly raked over the coals by filipinas and thais, so would approach those cultures with caution. But if you can find a Chinese lady with traditional values, you will be a happy camper indeed, IMHO. And some of these Chinese women are very, very hot.

The downside, for us westerners, is that mandarin is a damnably difficult language to learn.

Paraguay is a member of MERCOSUR, so you could make your home in Argentina, Brazil, or Uruguay (maybe Chile? Is Chile part of MERCOSUR?) "La paraguayita" would be welcome in any of those nations.

Paraguay is a very poor country, with a very definite "rico y pobre" division in its people. I haven't seen much but Asuncion, and not really much of that, but I saw that the price of my modest townhouse in the Washington-Baltimore region would buy a fine villa with a walled garden and swimming pool in their "Villa Morro" district; fine dining there is close to the price of McDonalds up here; the main things that compare out as "more expensive" are cars and gasoline. And, thanks to certain "accidents of history" such as the War of the Triple Alliance, they do act (or at least they have acted, toward and around me) as though men are precious and worth keeping happy. And satisfied.

I would, however, very much prefer to live on the seacoast. And that is something Paraguay lacks.

There's truth in this with some men but it is just as much about cultural expectations as "subservience". In the first world West our whole view of long term relationships has undergone a complete revolution in the last 50 years. Fifty percent or more of Western marriages fail and end in divorce, which means heartbreak, financial loss and (not infrequently) catastrophe.

Them thar's really bad odds, like flipping a coin. In essence, marriage is now a rather unreliable contract in the West. At the same time. And it's no coincidence. Our attitudes to sex, family roles, and women's emancipation have also radically changed. Educated western women see their own identity and development as coming first and their family and man come second. Way second. If she tires of you, these days you're fucked. And I have always noticed that women have a different response to loss and grief than men. In my experience, once she says goodbye to you internally, in general she tends to get over it and move on quite quickly (maybe it's me, LOL!). But I know men who are still carrying a torch for the cheerleader they fell in love with thirty years ago. We men may fall in love less easily and less frequently (some girls seem to fall in love with someone different every week), but when we fall, we fall hard.

Historically, marriage arose in the West primarily as a contract to ensure inheritance was secure. It used to be rather expensive (with the dowry an' all) so many used to never get married and just say they were married. But the expectation and financial reality was that the couple needed to stay together. Children, and plenty of them, were needed to work the farm or whatever and support you in your old age (ie anything past 35 a few hundred years ago). A woman with children and no man was in deep shit. Family was a survival mechanism and so was marriage. It had little whatsoever to do with love and romance or intellectual compatibility. It was a pragmatic partnership. If love was there or came, well and good, but that was not the primary motivation. If you could marry above your station you had hit pay dirt. Many of these values survived until recently in migrant communities such as the Irish, Italians and Asians who stocked the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. Now, we expect undying love and bliss, which of course is nonsense. And in our hearts we still yearn for a stable lifetime partner.

Nature and biology are very efficient. We are only programmed to be in a hormonally-drunk state of love long enough to be useful to the new mother and her child and ensure that the offspring survives. The human infant is very vulnerable and ideally needs two adults to care for it until it is sufficiently independent to survive. On the African plains where we humans evolved, we can see that the minimum period before a toddler could be big enough to forage for food independently while trailing behind the group would be about 3-4 years. Hence, humans have a 4 year itch statistically, not a 7 year itch, and often begin to look for new partners around this time in a relationship. The African plains also were dangerous. Predators and warring groups. Which meant a father was pretty much essential for hunting and protecting the woman and child. Hence, human pair bonding evolved, along with the intense feelings we call love.

This is why longer term partnerships tend to be about pragmatic things like continued survival and more children.

Women with more traditional values from more traditional cultures may have different, more pragmatic expectations about marriage and men than Western women. This is of value to men who also want a pragmatic relationship which is not driven by "personal development" first and foremost but is a partnership based on agreed principles for mutual nurturing.
