I hadn't heard of any treatment except cryotherapy, like they do for warts (not exactly a 'fast' cure - you're still looking at a couple of weeks before it's completely healed), but according to the site below, you can also use a cream. Molluscum will eventually heal without treatment, but it can take quite a while.

Dental dams can be purchased from sex shops, chemists or wherever you buy your condoms, but you might have to shop around a bit, because not everybody stocks them.
I've used dental dams for both giving and receiving oral sex and quite frankly - I hate them. They are all but impossible to manage, opaque (so you can't see anything), lolly-scented (so you can't smell or taste anything) and, most importantly, so darn thick you can't feel anything!! I probably shouldn't really say that, because I do know people who use them quite easily and are perfectly happy with how they feel - I'm just not one of them. :)
My handy hint for the day:
Get an ultra-thin, lubricated condom. It doesn't have to be ultra-thin, but they are obviously the best for sensation. Also, be sure it's only lubricated with lubricant, not spermicide.
Don't un-roll it! Take a pair of scissors and cut off the tip of the condom, then make another cut from the outside to the hole you just made in the middle. Gently roll it out and you should have a piece of latex, conveniently shaped like a triangle.
Place the triangle over the lucky girl's pink bits, lubricant side DOWN. The lubrication improves sensation for her and sort of sticks the condom to her skin, making it easier to keep in place during DATY.
Like condoms, you should only use your makeshift dam once and you shouldn't move it around from one area to another (for example, from rimming to DATY) or from one woman to another.

Yeah, already went to the SHC, did the freezing cryotherapy.. it works, kind of.. but there can still be a few hanging around, which is kind of unsightly.. lol.
Not a big deal, but have done the right thing and "quarantined" myself until they clear up (yeah looking at a month or so).
I read a few "home therapies", such as using Clearasil (acne) wash, and cream as well.. this seems to have helped somewhat.. will post if any further results.
As a matter of interest, kids can get these on their body as well, so they're not JUST sexually transmitted.. I read a few amusing reports from adults who got them, and their partners wanted to split due to thinking they caught an STD from someone else, when the reality was that they got it through other means.
In my case though, it probably was from contact with some wench.

I am embarking on a new relationship with a woman who told me she has genital herpes. She got it during protected sex (I know that's possible) from a guy who didn't bother to tell her that he has it.
She got it in July 2006 and had an outbreak. She was put on acyclovir (sp?) for three months, then stopped. She has not had an outbreak since and it has been almost one year.
I'm aware of the risks, including "sub-clinical shedding," which basically means that you can get it even when she's not in an outbreak, although I understand the chances are slim.
I have been tested positive for having the antibodies for herpes, which the doc said does not mean that I have it, only that at some time in my life I have been exposed to it. I have never had an outbreak or any signs of it. But I read in a forum on the web that having tested positive does mean that I have it.
My questions are:
Do I have it or not?
Does having sex with her without a condom and when she is not in an outbreak pose a significant risk to me?
Does the fact that she has had no further outbreak bode well for her and for me not getting it?
Does the fact that I carry the antibodies make it less likely that I can get it, or more likely?
Can I get it from performing oral sex on her?
I will greatly appreciate any feedback/answers to my questions. Thanks much!

With all the misinformation out there, (I have my doubts about the CDC. They act like any non-monogamous sexual activity will likely lead to an STD, yet they think it was okay to allow some turkey with incurable TB to sneak back into the USA), I was wondering is anyone has any PERSONAL experience with catching a STD after safe sex? That is PERSONAL experience, not what happened to your cousin's brother's best friend's nephew!
For what it is worth. I have sex 3 or 4 times a year with a prostitute, (all I can afford! ), have been doing this for 10 years, and was clean at my last STD check.

Recent member of this club and this is what I've found out based on research, discussions with my doctors, etc.:
1. Two tests were done, Igm and Igg. Both are antibodies tests, Igm strong positive means you recently were infected, Igg positive means you were infected in past. Last june (2006) my Igm titer was high, Igg low - which indicated I was recently infected. This past May my Igm titer non-existent, but Igg titer strong - this confirms infection probably occurred last spring/summer (2006).
2. Weird thing is when I had small lesion on penis June 06, went to have it tested and came back negative! And from June 2006 until early May 2007, no symptons, eg shedding, blisters, sores, pain, etc. Thought I had prostatitis until last month?
3. Recently, like two wks ago, got very small blister(s) on left side of penis and started valtrex. And visiting doc tomorrow for followup.
3. Since May 07, extreme pain/discomfort in urethra area, tested negative for HIV and other STD but confirmed I am herpes II positive. If you have antibodies, it's not like the traditional view where antibodies means you contracted disease and not immune to it. It means unfortunately you are infected and so far, there is no cure for Herpes II.
4. According to CDC, you can in theory pass on even with condom use. Best is take valtrax, use condom and when symptomatic, avoid sex to pass on to partner.
I'm not sure how I got it. I always have protected vaginal/anal sex but also am a weakling for good BBBJCIM. I monger regularly in Asia and whenever I travel have multiple sessions....
Wish I had more....haven't told my spouse yet. Strange as it doesn't appear she is infected but at some point I've got to open up to her and take whatever shit that comes my way. And of course get her tested....
And here I was feeling pretty good with my neg HIV test, and you guys opened up the herpes forum. Although my first wife had it, I never got anything from her. My 2nd wife caught it from some A-hole after we divorced.
(Poetic justice to me ,since I'm the best she is ever gonna have ,but too stupid to know).
I guess I'm gonna have to seek those tests since I have lost total count off all the girls I've had all over the world.

It is suppsoed to be a type of protection for STD from pussylicking, but it looks clumsy and I am wondering if the pleasure from it would be reduced a lot.
