I can't handle the heat, last time I was there in June it was so hot I could barely keep my mind on business, LOL. I checked out the newly opened bar "Tropicana" across the street from "3 Sombrero's", but it seems like an upscale place for the locals & their dates. Good band at Sombrero's, cute girl in front, but she is probably GF of the singer. Good place to take a date if you have some time.

Monteras was just a waste of time, a cattle show in there, nothing even worth a second look. A real collection of skank. Trash on the floor, does anybody ever clean this place? Perhaps slow because it was tuesday. I never liked Herradura's much, I just want to look around but the waiter is right there pushing a drink, the ugly girls are hovering too. Too bad the place across the street is pretty dead, it used to be a nice place, subdued lighting, A/C, but for some reason never got customers. Closed all winter, re-opened a couple months back but only about 6 people in the whole bar, no chica's.

By midnight I was too hot & tired I'll save the trip to BT until next month...

I was down there last Thursday and Friday (11 and 12 Sept). It was the night of Danash's Independence Day party. It was packed and all of the girls were on the laps of other customers and there was barely a place to sit. But it is fun when the Mariachis showed up.

Señoritas which is on the corner of the street with Papagayo and that back street with Danash wasn't as crowded and had some nice talent. (If you've seen the "Cool Beans" map on this site or others, it is where Hollywood Bar was. It is definitely not a TS bar). It has a few ex-Danash girls and some new girls to town as well as a girl or two from the other second tier bars. The bar is a notch down from Danash. There's a large stage for strippers and the tables have tablecloths. In the back there's a patio area with a pool. You can go back at sit at tables with a chica if you want to get out of the noise inside the bar. One chica told me that planned on having parties out by the pool sometime. The pool is like many I've seen in Mexico and more for scenery than actually swimming in. The rooms for the action are back there too. The rooms aren't great, but they aren't bad and have AC which is important this time of year.

1-2-3 hasn't opened yet. They had just put down tile on down on the sidewalk outside the bar on Thursday. A chica I spoke to at Señoritas when I was there last month said that they are really fixing 1-2-3 up and it will be nice when it opens.

Tamyko was open but there was a really ugly fat girl there and I didn't even bother going in. I haven't been there in years and then wasn't impressed.

Martha's (the donkey club) was open earlier. No donkey and the girls outside looked too scary be near. I haven't really hung out here over the years either.

Marabu has new paint on its wall and the girl from Señoritas last month said that it would be reopening soon. That bar is huge and it a shame that it has been dead as long as I've been going to NLBT. Maybe there will be new life.

Papagayo was weak. If you went to Papagayo a few years ago you'd recognize many of the girls. There weren't really any new talent there and many of my favoritas have moved on (I've run into about a half dozen former Papagayo girls at Chicago Club and Adelita in Tijuana).

I'm not much for door girls but did notice that many of the doors right across the street from Danash were closed with "se renta" signs on them. Some of those girls that used to inhabit those rooms were cute. Not sure if the landlord raised the rent or there's an occupancy problem.

Security is the same as it has been for the past several months. Expect to have to get out and get patted down at the front gate. I was actually surprised when I arrived on Thursday because the officer recognized me and let me pass. Friday night there was a different guy but he only did a cursory search patting the outside of my pants. Don't bring drugs or weapons and you'll be fine.

Going to BT for the firt time since '01 tomorow night (9/20.) Anyone going, want to meet up, introduce me to the good bars?

If I do decide to go, it will be aifrst for me. Our local HS football team was placed in the Laredo district so now I would have an excuse to go down there and spend a weekend.

I just don't know where to stay. I would tend to think id rather stay in NL, and on some sites I have seen hotels (the better ones I supposed) were like 60-68 per night, which I guess isn't too bad.

I've also read that you can get just a good hotel as any other in NL for cheaper but I kind of think that since its a huge city, you wouldn't have much luck just showing up and getting a nice clean very decent room you know? Anyway which hotel is the closest to BT but also I guess situated in the middle of all the good action in NL as well? (eg the local bars etc)

Most guys I know stay at either the Fiesta Motel or Matamoros Hotel downtown.
Some guys prefer to be closer to BT, and there are several decent options for that.

Check PMs 95.........[/QUOTE]I would recommend Hotel Romanos which is on a side street across from the municipal building,but do not think you will find much for 60=80 pesos unless you want many cucaracha companions. This hotel is guest friendly and has enclosed , secure parking garage behind. Clean rooms are had for about $28. This hotell is about 6 blocks from Herradura and other bars in center.

Has anyone been down to bt recently. Is there still a quanity /quality of girls there. The last time I went beginning of the year wasnt much and don't want to waste a trip down there. Also wanted to know are thing still tense down in laredo any info would help.

Does anyone know if the Cadillac Bar is currently operating as a turf club? Last time I was down (approximately a year ago) there was talk that it would be operating as such since the original Turf Club had closed.

I love to monger, but love college football almost as much and was wondering if I'd be able to catch the games during the day.

I'm a frequent contributor on the another forum and an avid reader of the ISG. I just have a few questions regarding Nuevo Laredo that I can't seem to find from RTTF'ing. I have been once (about a year and a half ago) to Boystown and spent a few hours. I am planning a triumphant mongering return to the area from October 29-November 3. My plan is this. And I welcome any suggestions. I am going to be primarily staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Nuevo Laredo for convenience, safety and Internet for work. I also would like to get a second hotel for bringing dates located near the Boystown compound. From my reading the forum I don't see specific names of hotels mentioned that are near the compound. Should I even consider getting a second room near Boystown or even in the downtown area? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone would like to join me during this time please PM me and drinks will be on me.

My last trip to Boystown was in January of this year and, as previousley mentioned, quality and quantity were low. However, I revisited BT 10/1/08 and am happy to report a definite improvement from my last trip.

I am a truck driver, so I stay at the truck stops on I-35 exit 13 and catch one of the shuttles that are run by locals. This is very convenient if you are a first timer. For $25 you get a round trip (about 4 hrs) and since the shuttle drivers are well known in BT there are no hassles or pat downs by the cops. Also, the driver stays so if you're a nervous newbie you won't be alone. Otherwise you are free to explore on your own. The shuttles always bring you into the back of the Donkey Bar first where the girls are lined up to grab you as soon as you walk in. I will usually have a beer out of respect to the "arrangement" for the shuttle driver before moving out to see what’s new. I circled the "safe" block. There were several decent looking door girls, but I prefer a less rushed experience. Danash was loaded with very hot (and high-priced) talent. Senorita’s and Eros (located between Danash and Senorita’s) were new to me and I did not go into either as my time was limited. 1-2-3 is still a work in progress but it’s looking very nice on the outside. My final destination was Papagayos where I also noticed a marked improvement in quality and quantity from my last visit. I was very tempted by several ladies, but I held out for an old favorite.

Sonya took me to a room out back and started with a long massage that felt great. After an athletic romp that included CG, doggie, and mish, she finished me the same way we started with a BBBJ. A quick shower and I was out the door after about 90 minutes.

I only get to BT once or twice a year, and the last couple of trips were lacking in choices, but based on this last trip I’d say things are looking up!
