If anyone on this thread knows anything about Chittagong, please go to the Chittagong thread and respond to my post. I really need some information, and I know someone in Dhaka must know something about the mongering situation in Chittagong.

Believe me when I say that the local police are fully aware of any mongering location before we are. This is true in all of the places I have been, including the good ol' USA, land of puritans, prudes, and overpriced prosties.

Just a caution. Recently there have been a lot of street walkers near Hotel Lakeshore in Gulshan 2. Many (all?) of these are shemales (ladyboys) who can be very difficult to get out of the car once they are in. Also there has been a lot of police activity in the evenings here. Trying to cut down on the trend I guess.

I paid her then 500 Takas more at the end. She didn't look so good, but also not too bad (but I was drunk). One bad thing, I gave my number and she tries to call every evening. But just one call and doesn't insist, so it is ok.

I am planning to plunge into my first trip to Dhaka very soon. Can someone tell me hotel / guest house addresses in Benani area that are girl-friendly? Price range that I am looking for is around $75 / day. Any further help regarding girls' contact would also be much obliged. Thanks in advance.

I was at the Sarina Hotel this week.

Went to the Picasso Bar on the 19th floor. Dark bar with some great live local style music.

I noticed at least 6 or 7 girls there, varying from lovely traditional dress to jeans, various ages.

I was not sure of the process, but had a chat with one lovey girl.
