If you always stay at Garden Hotel, haven't you seen the bridge/fly-over just in front of main entrence. Don't climb the stairs & you will find it right there under the fly over. Go from the starbuck side.

I thought the White Swan Hotel is being renovated, it is done already? The White Swan Hotel prior to renovation was not girl friendly. Most 5 star hotels are not, you be better off staying in a non-branded 4 star and under hotel.

Fortunately, my company selected it. So not much choice on the location- and you are right. Very strict entrance requirements, no chance to have anyone join you.

I did manage to sneak out twice during the 4 days I was there. The first night was Saturday. And went to the Sauna at the Victory Hotel at 53 Shamian. Just 4 blocks from the White Swan. The entrance to the sauna is on the west side of the hotel on a side street. The managers all speak english. And the facilities are very good. Very clean showers, steam & dry, chairs with individual TV's. Took advantage of the Full Body Massage. Taken to a room where I was introduced to a very attractive 21 year old woman. 5"5", large natural breasts (made for a great body massage), slender. Just my type. I was given the option to change. But liked her attitude in the intro, so stayed with her. She did not speak english. But we had good fun with hand language. The massage itself was not outstanding, but did the fire & ice, and FS and it was better than most sauna experiences I've had. Ended up with covered BJ, and 2 positions. Unfortunately, I was a little tired from the trip. I got the impression she was ready for more. About 90 minutes all together. Total was 535 RMB for the house. 300 tip for the girl. And 10 for the locker guys. A little expensive for Guangzhou. But it was a very clean location in a prime spot. And the young lady was good.

Second night (Monday) was the Star Hotel. Was clean or but not as well appointed sauna. And apparently not too many americans frequent this place. Good report on this place earlier. And can confirm it is clean & the pricing is about 200 RMB cheaper than the Victory. Did not make it to the Tang or the Cave as our hotel was a bit far. Hopefully next time!

1st time in Guangzhou next week and no idea on teh scene. Guess the Hotel should be fine but any freelancer scene or sthg? All advice appreciated as I haven't been in China for long.

Both times were really good. If you are staying in a hotel in Guangzhou, I would recommend these ladies. However others may have had more negative experiences.

I hope that you don't overpaid most of this girl ask for 1000 rmb to start for st, most will go down to 400 rmb, most are average for hot girl you need to go to the top end KTV, Guangzhou is a very expensive city to play like most big city in China if you a newbie that don't know better.
