I've heard one way to keep the girl intrested is to buy her small gifts. I'm. Just looking for example. Jewelry? If so what kind? Dresses skirts? Personal price limits?
I'm trying to understand what to buy so I can get a reaction of gratitude. Nothing sucks more that buying a gift for someone and they clearly don't enjoy it.

My observations from being in Medellin on and off for the past 3 months and comparing to other multiple trips over the years mainly before the pandemic. There seem to be a lot more available talent around the parque lleras and surrounding areas. This is a full square around the park perimiter which include Gusto club at the top, and a couple of clubs next to the liquor shop, the a new 'til 4 am' club on the corner, plus the main street outside the park perimeter which is 10th ave I think and has two pharmacies on the corner. This area is a full on meat market, like I have never seen it before. Most gringo's and other toursits sit and drink beers at the surrounding bars. There are very active street hustlers inviting you to one of the clubs. I used to but never see a point going into these clubs packed with dudes trying to get a table, the music is super loud. All these girls that walk in and out of clubs are approachable. Not once has a girl refused to give me her number. So why bother going to the club if you can see them all outside and better lit with the bright lights. I've taken 1, 2 girls alone or 1, 2 girls with a friend. Never any issues. I have doormen check their ID and take girl's photograms. I will demand to take a photo of the girl or together before we talk into the building. I sent the photo to my friends. It's not bulletproof, but there is enough presence that if anything happens to you and you are willing to pursue this, you will find the girl and any evidence of wrongdoing should there be any harm done to you. That goes without saying. Also ask their FB / Instagram profiles. If a girl refuses a photo or any info about her, this is a red flag, even if she is not going to rob / spike you, she may end up being not compliant, and basically not fun.

For someone who was lucky to be here during the pandemic, 2020 was the best year. I was JUST thinking this. I was acrually "stranded" here during pandemic and there was this amazing moment where the pesos went to 4. 2 mil = 1 dollar and none of the inflation caught up. I was getting BB TLN from dimes for like 300 mil. I had one stay a week and only got like 500. My aparment was a 1 br I paid like $400 a month for with everything. They same place is going for over $1200 now!

I've only once ever had a girl ask me to pay her to go out for a coffee, beer etc and that includes a couple semipros to pros. Now, some do ask me to get their taxis, which I pay if they ask. My point is, there doesn't seem to be an expectation among most pros even that you are paying them for their time. This extends to having a girl over. If she's enjoying herself she'll hang out for hours. Rather you are paying them for sex. In my mind, at least that's one of the standout features of Colombia.
Every time I fill it out, there are some quirks. It works but you need to be careful in making sure all your entries are correct. When selecting your nationality, United States is not listed. The Spanish term is listed, Estados Unidos. If you don't know Spanish and you're looking for United States, that may throw you off. Make sure you pick the right airport of arrival. I picked one in Medellin but it was the wrong one and then I could not enter my flight number. Then I realized my mistake and it was fine. Then they asked me a question about how much currency I was carrying and there was no "yes or no" option. That one puzzled me until I saw that I had to move the screen further to the right on my computer to see the options.
I use the English version but I did read that the original Spanish works better.
So the website does work but you need to carefully fill it out and make sure that all the info is correct. One wrong answer stops you from continuing.

If you were in Rio back in the Help days, Sosua 15 years ago, Thailand or Philippines then you will know how normal it was to meet a chick and it was not even a question that she would stay with you all night and sometimes days at a time. That is just how things worked in those places. That is what my understanding of GFE is, not whether she kisses you in the mouth or not.
People get into trouble when they try to transfer their experiences from those places to Colombia where there is a different mongering dynamic. You do not read in other threads about it being common sense to make sure you are watching your drink and shit like that because people are not being drugged and robbed in those places.
I understood what Dublin was trying to accomplish because he had been mongering in those other destinations, but he just would not take for an answer that Colombia is not that type of mongering. And it really does make one wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze in a place that you are risking being drugged and robbed versus some other location where you can relax and be carefree and do not have to worry about looking over your shoulder every minute.
