I think the suburbs of San Jose, CR would be safer
Hey guys, this question might not have been asked here before. I working remotely so I was planning to get the digital nomad visa for 2 years and plan to set up shop in Colombia. I speak Spanish fairly well. I am not looking to monger per se, but would love to anywhere in Colombia. But the recent news about drugging and murder makes me wary. If you don't plan to monger or only monger a little how safe is Colombia for living long term and for long term relationships. Thanks, muchas gracias!
I have a friend that lives in MDE. He loves it. I believe he is retired.
The thing I can't get around in MDE is that where there is smoke there is fire. I've been doing pretty serious research on Scopalina and the dangers of MDE. I'm not gay, but I don't have anything against gay people whatsoever. The intel I received is that the gay pay for play scene in MDE is thriving and there is a huge scopalina risk for gay, affluent Gringos. Similar risk for affluent out of shape Gringos constantly looking to low ball chicas over $6. The Police in Colombia aren't all that respected by Colombians. Whatever you do don't count on them for anything. Check out the you tube videos of Americans that got scoped, overweight, out of shape, and effeminate seem to be common themes.
My Spanish tutor is from Bogota. She has told me that there is no safe place in Colombia, even for Colombians.
The Colombian chicas are flat out gorgeous. The Colombian men I've met in the US have told me that if a Colombian lady really loves you then they are surprisingly faithful. I juxtapose that with the Colombian men I met in MDE, they sure do seem to call ladies Putas, and they do it often.
I believe a suburb of SJ, CR would be a far safer place to be a digital nomad. Great weather, big CIA ops center, lots of retired CIA live there. The Switzerland of Central America.
"The times they are a Chanagin"
And this is the quoted post.
when you can just imagine what you have is just as good? That is pure genius. It is like you read the minds of most of the guys on the forum.
Um GFE? What? 3 years ago my first trip to Colombia lasted 6 weeks. I stayed in Bogota the first 3 weeks at Bacatá tower. I think it was an ISG secret back then. LOL.
The first Colombian / SA girl I met was a sweet & very fit blonde BABE. She could compete for Miss Universe. . She said I was an "animal" I liked that. She got me started on this crazy search.
The 2nd was a model / violinist / college girl – she had only cold water for showers at home, she was that "small town girl who didn't know how beautiful she was" Climbed Monserrate while I slept and came back to cook for me. That was then. Now it's trips to Dubai.
Both spoke perfect English. No Condoms, they were single then and WOW what a great way to start 6 (so far) trips to Colombia.
The rabbit hole is addicting.
(xyztravel quote).
THEN came Medellin. OMG. The times they are a Changing' too fast maybe. 3 years later. So much to tell / remember but not today.
Visits to this fantasy world are hard to describe. It's better to live there. I hope to keep some things sacred. LOL, already there are millions of youtube video views about Medellin, 10,000 digital nomads, 20 hostels.
I've met beautiful, interesting and amazing women in Colombia. Keeping them? I did that in the USA usually it ended with heartbreak I never understood that it was possible to meet so many 10's without commitment, without heartbreak, preserve those memories and even revisit. It's difficult to believe that GFE is normal there well, it's OK for a lot of them. I guess I still have some of that USA brainwashing. It's not as much fun having sex just for the pleasure. So be nice, take your time and you too will find more than one amazing girl. And save those memories. Stay in touch with them.
ISG is a amazing resource. Watch your 6 and enjoy it while you can. Before the whole world shows up.
