Wish we could distribute this to everyone who is thinking of visiting Medellin or who has been in the past, but has not visited in a while. I sure would be happy with many less gringos visiting (especially the ballers and weekend warriors) and ruining everything! .

ANd even if it did, economically Colombia cannot afford to get rid of prostitution. Tourism dollars, support for poor chicas with kids, etc. Despite how much some politicians and rich folks *****, the realit is that they really need us and prostitution to limit social unrest. Think of what would happen if girls could not longer pay for rent and food and to raise their kids. Think about hotels, restaurants, taxis. Not realistic.

Truth is we are at the airport and Cancun and the gal is balling her eyes out saying, "I am never going to see you again. " My definition of a 10 is someone who drives both sexes crazy and this girl did just that. But then I was like, "Holy shit, this girl is in love with me. " I really did not know her all that well. I had sworn off oneitis and had created this list of boxes that I was sure no one would ever check, and at the time, I was not sure even she could check them. There were just no red marks.

Yeah, there is less materialism, less entitlement, less complaining, less playing the victim, less emasculating behavior in Colombia than the USA, but it is still there. Then there are the druggings and petty theft we see, so anyone with stars in their eyes about finding "the one" in Colombia is likely going to be in for a swift reality check.

And there is no doubt that seeing multiple women is more of a rush; there are the oh so high highs and the lows no one wishes to mention. Meeting so many different women was fun. I miss my Cancun trips with multiple women. They were a fucking ball.

And you are making trade offs. Fun for security. Deeper more lasting family type relationships versus exciting more numerous superficial ones. A relationship you can share with the world versus the fun multiple ones you kind of have to hide. More intimate sex versus more fun sex. Forget the society bullshit. Those are the real tradeoffs you have to make if you are with just one woman, and it damned well better be the right woman. The cost of multiple women in the USA is sky high but it is doable for many in Colombia.

And how many women are really worth that tradeoff of forsaking all others? Giving up your monogamy? Very few in Colombia and even fewer in the USA. In fact, I think if you are looking for that one special woman you are way more likely to convince yourself said girl is "the one" than actually find her. And there are the objective traits all guys want and the subjective ones that vary woman to woman. "The one" woman has to have both the objective and subjective. I have listed the objective but not the subjective. For example, my gal is an idealist which might put off many guys who want a more real type woman not one that could be called nave.

I guess what I am saying is that if you force yourself into believing there is "the one" as society wants you to I am not so sure it works. With me, it just fell in my lap, and I took it slow so as to prevent getting hurt.

As with me, it might not even be your choice. Some old movie said the most attractive feature in a woman was a woman in love with her man. I am sure that has happened with you and will again. The question is if you grab onto it or let it go when that window is open.

I am hanging with my friends, and two gripe that their wives do not pick up when they call. Meanwhile, my gal calls me looking good and is all smiles and bubbly happy to speak with me. They want that. Who does not want that? But the thing is there is the tradeoff. I know a guy like you is banging a ton of beauties having a ball, and I do not get to do that anymore. It is that reality, that tradeoff those guys and hell some of the guys here do not get, but you do.

If you move from the many to the one, chances are that your happiness is more likely to go down than up. In my case, it is up but not that much, and it is more about the unhappiness being down if you know what I mean. I mean I do not have to deal with the no-shows, ripoffs, unrealistic crazy witches ETC. In general, threesomes were disappointing but there is no question that my having two or three women on a trip all at once was as fun as it gets. And there is nothing like that great rush with an amazing first or second encounter when you have that crazy great sexual find that you are getting and I am not.

So yeah, maybe the grass in my world is a little greener than yours, but Don, if so, it is not by much.

Fact is, countries and cities that economically can ill afford to do so have been cracking down on prostitution everywhere. I remember the discussion we had in the German FKK forum about a club called Yin Yang in a small duch border town with Germany. The only two family hotels in town got their customers from the club. The club itself was probably the town's main business in terms of turnover and taxes. Yet the city council closed the club for good on spurious charges. Prostitution counts for nothing.

The real economy is the local economy, and in the prostitution business here my guess is that the local part is 95% of it, and we foreign mongers may be a focal point, but mostly irrelevant to the economy.

If one wanted to find a needle it would make much more sense to go to the sewing aisle at Walmart than to look in a haystack.

There's a reason why there's no signs identifying the casas in Medellin, the same as to why rooms are typically hidden in the strip clubs and the locals use the many love motels with private garages. Discretion is the norm. Guys who party it up and parade hookers in and out of apartment buildings and hotels used by the locals are well outside the norms. All are free to do as they will but don't complain when there are consequences. And you are very right, Colombia doesn't need that kind of tourism.

My point in the grander scheme and in terms of the law of averages is that if you want a girlfriend look for a normal girl that is not p4 p. Seeking is not the best way to find that. There is nothing wrong with having a sugar baby if you know what you are getting into and know what you want. Can that relationship transform? Sure. His and other people's posts are proof. But, a site like Seeking is explicitly designed to link sugar daddys to babies. Now does Seeking magically have all the most attractive girls ever on it who would never open a personal Facebook or Instagram account? I don't think so. Now I'll also happily pay for sex both upfront and on the back end. There is nothing wrong with that and I wouldn't be on this site if I believed otherwise. I've been giving the latest girl I've been spending significant time with either gifts or some cash when I see her. She made it clear to me she expects some help, though she stumbles over herself to justify in her mind that she is not a prepago (which has its benefits too). She's probably the kinkiest woman I've ever met and the tradeoff there is more than worth it for me. But am I planning to make her my girlfriend or madly in love with her? If his goal was to fuck different attractive women every week or have a stable of regulars I think Seeking or other more p4 p routes might be the most efficient way to achieve that goal.
