Rio de Janeiro Reports

I need to qualify my post as it was poorly written. It actually had 2 parts to it.

The first part I meant to say that I don't buy anything in Zona Sul that I need for general use. Anything imported I usually get a friend to bring it in. That is like perfume for ladys gifts (for girlfriends etc) , anything electronic like a new camera, anything which you can't just get in Rio. Anything that I need to buy in Brazil I don't buy in Zona Sul I usually go to Centro or further up in Zona Norte. These items include Generic Drugs like Viagra, local clothes, anything needed around the house. Everything that I need I can get in centro or Zona Norte for at least 30% cheaper than I can get it in Copacabana or Ipanema. When you are buying something that is like R$200 or so. 30% to 40% savings is well worth it.

The second part was about women. I know Rio very well. I know all the Termas in Zona Sul, I still go to them and know what girls are there etc. However I rarely bang a girl there now. Just can't justify spending R$300 for a terma girl that I can bang for R$80 or R$150 in centro. I can afford it I just sit there and think "man that girl is exactly the same as say * down in centro but it is like 3 x the price". I just don't pull the trigger as much as I used to in Zona Sul.

Now before someone says there is a lot of leg work to find these gems in Centro etc. Yes there is. However for some one like myself that lives in Rio and has time on his hands it really is a no brainer to find these GDP's at the cheaper places. I am not talking about the shit hole filthy cheapies that are like R$40 a bang. I mean T502 is great, facilities are similar to the Zona Sul T's but way cheaper. Bel Prazer and Dudas are higher class prives in centro and are like R$100 for the hour, their facilities actually nicer than say the rooms at Monte Carlo or Luomo or Cent. There are also a ton of other similar places that I am not going to tell everybody about, well not constantly anyway.

As to the argument that Termas are fun to hang out at. Well sure they are when you are a tourist, but again when you live in Rio they are not nearly as comfortable as banging the same girl at your apartment all night. To me hanging at a Terma is OK, but it kind of gets old once you live in Rio. Hence for my tastes, I still like to go to a Terma every now and again, but it is so much better to work on a nice young centro chic, have her come over for free etc, and then occasional bang at a centro t or casa once or twice a week until your current freebie and yourself "grows apart" and you bring in the next one.

My post is not arguing with anybody, everybody need to find what makes them happy. For me the above is what best fills in my time. What I would suggest to people that visit Rio frequently is do visit centro and put in some effort. Even if you have to bang 3 girls to find that 1 keeper, it is still the same price as banging 1 T girl that may or not be great. For the price of 2 T girls, you can bang 6 girls in centro. Out of those 6 girls you will find someone that clicks with you and it worthy of investing a little bit more time and then you can develop some type of relationship in your own bed. Its all a time versus money numbers game.

Have to agree with you. I don't think whether you have a nice apartment or not really makes any difference. Doesn't hurt, but your approach and your game is way more important. Also agree with you that most girls are comfortable on the bus. I had a very nice girl over a couple months ago that refused taxi money to get back to centro, it was getting late and I thought I could get her to the central bus terminal quicker by offering her taxi cash. She refused saying I was nuts "why would anybody pay R$30 for a taxi when the bus gets there for $2. 40 was something like her answer.

The number one experience enhancer IMHO is learning Portuguese. Whether it is connecting with a non-pro, convincing a termas girl to spend the night or just communicating with that centro apartment girl, speaking Portuguese makes a huge difference. A close second is having a good sense of humor. Brazilians love to joke around.

I recently had to go to the hospital and was lucky to draw a gorgeous female doctor who spoke limited English. She asked me if I use Viagra. I told her no. Why would I? I have a Brazilian girlfriend. After turning red, she couldn't help but laugh.

Changed plans. Obama will not appear in public on Cinelândia. Only specially invited people will get to see him inside the Theatro Municipal. It seems that many cariocas got disappointed and pissed of by the changed plans.

The number of GP's on "ho-beach" have been very low since Help closed. However, yesterday there were at least 25 GP's in front of Othon palace. They were quite busy with a large number of american soldiers.

Just went to 22 last night and can confirm that the prices are back to normal. R$ 15 entrance for 3 beers and the half hour option was R$ 75. I went pretty late (close to 2AM) after having drinks at Balcony with friends and left at 3:45. They were still accepting programs at that time. There were about 6 girls in there last night but only 2 decent looking ones.

Arrived in Rio yesterday, staying at the Mengo Palace near Catete, simple near metro, access to both center and zona sul. After doing blitz catchup reading on hotside, BubbaBoy and forums, I marked out this agenda.

I speak porto, having lived in Sampa, and very familair with Sampa scene.

Left at 5pm, walked to see the Luciana Massagens, Cacao models (same group) , and Ju Panteras in Rua Bento Lisboa. I sort of felt like I was back in Russia, hunting blindly for the door in a big bldg. I tried to call Ju Panteras, but there was no answer and I only had a note "4th floor". I figured ok, must be a comercial bldg, can't be that many offices on 4th floor. Wrong. Its a big residential bldg with about 50 apartments per floor. I get to 4th floor and am not even sure I am in the right part of the bldg, be / see there were several entrances to the bldg. I say 'f this' and go to the 6'th floor, at least I had a room number for Cacao Models. I went to their door. Again, simple apt. I buzzed, no answer. Some semi-attractive girl comes up hallway from some other location. I say "Cacao Models?","Sim, who do you want to see?". I said, I want a presentacao. She said "there is no presentacao, everything is reservation"."Book?"."No book"."Who is here now?"."Me and (she introduces another girl)." Neither are worth it. So we chat a bit, and I say "Do you know Ju Panteras?"."Yes. 4th floor"."Do you know the room number?" "No". Then just as I am about to leave, a 3rd girl (Rebecca) shows up, and she does know the room number for Ju Panteras. Rebecca is doable, but I decide to continue.

Return to the 4th floor. Find the room for JP. Girl answers door "who do you want to see?"."I want a presentacao". Finally she lets me in. Apartment is small railroad style corridor with small rooms. Only 2 girls. The door answerer Priscila (aka Fernanda) and another unattractive girl. Priscila is ok, corresponds to her foto, tho it was hard to assess corpo under her loose dress. I decided to continue journey.

Original plan was to go to the prives in 3 bldgs near Carioca stationg. But after experience with Bento Lisboa, I decided to go straight to Termas, and postpone till Saturday a visit to the apartments. The problem with the apartments is time. A terma has benefit of girls in one room, and conversation. The apartments are hunt, presentacao and quick yes / no decision. This is tough for a visitor. I understand that it is great option for residents, and I did similar legwork in Russia, but for visitor, even porto speaking, it is a tough option. Maybe I will have a better impression after visiting the Carioca places. In general the 2 I saw yesterday are inferior in organization to Sampa prives. Sampa prives have waiting rooms, and admins, and presentacaos. They do not have web sites. In Rio, they have web sites with pretty girls, but when you show up there are only 2 on site. So they are like inverse patterns.

To Bubba Boy.re your guide. I liked that you did a Teir model on the Termas, that was great value. Maybe a similar thing for the apartments. You indicate below that some apartments / massage are higher end than others. That would help to know.

After this, I went to 4x4, hooked up with pretty passista, thought about a double with her beautiful friend, but decided to start 1:1. Good time was had. Very very active in the bed. No complaints. Hi quality session, except for the shard of broken glass on bed, which she cut her finger on as I was banging her from behind. Fortunately it was at the end of session and the cut was minor. I was impressed with the looks of the 4x4 girls. Good selection for my taste.

Decided to check out 65, down the street. Went there, but the 20+ girls were weak imo. Significant downgrade from 4x4. Like a 5 kilo difference on average. I stood around and decided,"this is not worth it, maybe the hot ones are in rooms, but f' it, I can go back to 4x4". So I left and decided to go to Cancun.

Cancun, nice facilities. Live pagode music, nice. The girls were midway be / t 4x4 and 65 on on average. Not as many top end as in 4x4 but better on average than 65. Conversed a while and settled on a sweet little somewhat reserved negra. In the room, it was a real special time. There was a good connection be / t us, and the sex was extremely powerful.

All in all a good night. Am about to leave for rendesvous with a highly rated indy, and then it will be off to either the Carioca prives or the copa termas. Not sure if Carioca prives are open Saturday.

The 2 best and largest prives in centro are Bel Prazer & Dudas, although both in different buildings they are like 100 yards apart.

I agree 4x4 is probably the best Terma in centro as far as quality. It is the largest Terma in Rio as far as numbers goes and has over 60 cabines, I have actually had to wait a number of times for a cabine to come free, hence were 60 people banging plus a few waiting, quite large! Also drop by T502 while on your way there. It is like 300 yards away from 4x4 and only R$20 to enter, R$120 for 40 minutes, represents the best value Terma in Rio and has some cute girls, I think they have cuter girls there than T65 or Cancun! A couple of the really cute girls just left T502, when they were there I think it had even better girls than 4x4!

One point on 4x4, if you are in the boite you may not see the hottest girls come through. The really hot girls are booked for a good portion of the night, only see them come down to the boite a few times during the night and then they only stay a few minutes before they are dragged bag up to the cabine. Despite its size, it is very much a place where you need to go a few times and get to know a couple of girls before you get to see everybody and to see some of its finest!

Definitely worth checking out. Several girls here told me they used to work at 4x4 but get suspended for not showing up or coming in late too many times. Management at 502 is not as strict and often girls who need a more flexible schedule or are waiting out a suspension will show up there.

From the perspective of this non-resident, your 'put in effort' comment means not just doing a lot of sessions, but also learning some Porto, like ET said, knowing the onibuses for those times when the metro has already closed for the night, keeping your room stocked with some drinks, having an idea of what to do with the girl in off-hours other than fuck, and maybe bring in some Victoria's Secret stuff for wooing. You can't count on the girls to know any English or to know where they'd like to go for food, because most don't have any English skills and most don't know the areas of Centro or Zona Sul, except how to get to where they solicit and back to the bus stop. Most of the girls seem to be from 30+ minutes away, and sometimes they are from places like Minas Gerais and live in the back in the brothel, saving their money, have no real time off except for sleeping and don't know anything decent in Centro even though they, for all practical purposes, live there. And NO, PC-lurkers, they are not trafficked. The girls are there because they have babies from deadbeat Brasilian dads. They work for so long, then go home for a time and live off our money. Then when they run out, they come back to the city to earn more.

I recommend starting with Centro termas girls and not Centro prive/aparto girls. There must be a reason why a 8+/10 Copa termas quality girl worthy of takeout chooses to work Centro apartos for low money, and that reason is most likely because she has nighttime commitments (or herpes..reality check!). I think Centro termas is the place to start for the more advanced/bored/frugal monger wanting to try takeout from Centro. Non-frequent or first time visitors are better served staying in Copa and hitting Luomo/MC and Balcony and doing the same thing easier at higher prices. They can save money in between visits, no problem.

Yes! R$120/40 and the environment in the boite is better than anyplace else that I know of, lots of dancing, etc. My experiences last month were good. I just randomly selected a girl there and she was worth my repeats (find a married girl there if you can, they are there for the sex and the money is a fringe benefit) and 502 made me give up on Club Florida, need I say more...
