Once you start down that slippery slope, of having the chicas dictate what gifts they want, it usually never stops. On your next trip she will ask for a laptop.
I had one chica who wanted a motorola razor cell phone, years ago, I bought her a prepaid one at walmart for around $80 dollars. I stopped seeing that chica.
My last trip I gave a chica a $20 watch I bought at Walmart and she was very happy. A few years ago I gave another chica a $20 Samsung cell phone, she still has the phone and uses it and I still see that chica.
I like to give gifts, but I like to give gifts on my terms. When chicas start dictating to me, that they want this model or that model of phone, it is a red flag. To me, I don't care how my cell phone looks, I am happy with a $20 Samsung phone.
For many chicas in DR, a cell phone is like a fashion accessory, like a louis vuitton bag (to me they look nothing special and slightly ugly). It is a just a status symbol.
I doubt any of their Dominican or Haitian boyfriends give them any gifts. Some chicas could easily give whatever gifts they get, to their Dominican or Haitian boyfriends.
It is nice to be generous with a person you like, but, be careful, some chicas will use and abuse a guy just as well as some guys use chicas.
It is your money (I don't like anyone telling me how to spend my money), giving her a $50 or $100 or more, phone may make economic sense, the chica might be very happy with the gift and stay with you for three or more days. So you might be saving money in the long run, rather than if you went out and paid different chicas to be with you for three or more days. Some chicas will factor in that you gave them a nice gift, but some chicas will still ask for money, even if you gave them a nice gift.
If the chica is hardcore in her demands for a particular expensive phone, then it might be best to walk away from her. There are plenty of non-high-maintenance chicas in DR, no need to have to have a greedy DR chica by your side.
These are just my two pesos, you are a big boy, you know what is right for you.
Yea its funny, I was talkin to a chick who I never fuked because of her attitude and she had the nerve to tell me its her sons bday next week and can I bring a playstation for him next time I come down.
