More likely, this particular bar owner either refused or forgot to pay the monthly bribe to stay in business. There must be at least a hundred bars on that Soi and every one of them is a cat house. If the cops really decided to crack down on prostitution in Pattaya, this place would be a ghost town.

The intention has always been to reduce prostitution and hide it away more effectively, if not actually eliminate it. As disingenuous as this prosecution seems to be, I would not be at all suprised to see Soi 6 shut down in a few years, particularly if the Thaksin/Red side come back into power.

As noted regarding Soi 6, this Soi from beginning to end is doing the same thing the Mandarin is doing! So why Mandarin? The rule of thumb or the law if that is what one wants to believe is the Soi closes at 1am! The Mandarin owners violated that code by trying to stay open beyond that period. Closing the lights out front and trying to skirt the code amount others on the Soi, got them busted.
Most of these bars are Farang owned fronted by Thai women, one call, a little money and a call from another jealous owner and you get raided. Personally Thaksin or the Red or yellow or whatever color that comes along there will always be a Soi 6! Before Thaksin was in charge there was a Soi 6, when he was in office Soi 6, got more popular and when he was out of office since 2006, Soi 6 still alive! Maybe not the same owners and they come and go but in the end its still another bar. Thaksin is so homesick for Thailand he would do anything or use anyone means to return. If he had to kiss the Kings Ass to return without serving Jail time he couldn't jump fast enough so allowing the P4P to continue to operate in Pattaya is small give back.
Thailand is all about smoke and mirror, every policeman wants to be assign to Soi 9, district. Biggest payout because of Soi 6, and Walking Street. There was a time Soi Buakhao was suppose to be the new WS. but today WS is still there. Nothing will change!

Yep I have seen it with Thai WGs before and many Brazilian WGs as well. Some just like to get a little extra money and some just like to fuck. Either way I don't see anything wrong with it.

The [b]Popper Pattaya Hotel Report [/b]was completed about a week ago. It is over 30 pages long. Tried to post it, but could not.
