But it is not in Fields, though Clarkton does have a shuttle service.

If you are on the relaxing mood - go for CLarkton. If you are in the mood to but more notches on your belt - stay at or near Fields.

I think the clarkton is a nice hotel and they have old and newly renovated rooms. They also have a big breakfast buffet for those who are missing home.

I havent stayed there yet, because I am only on weekends in AC, so I like to have a place with walking distance to the action.
However I think Clarkton has a shuttle service to fields and if you step out you can hail down any jeepney which drops you just infront of Margaritha station/jeepney terminal.
However, sometimes its faster to walk then to ride, so I prefer a hotel nearby lower fields ave.
If your a perimeter fan then its ok to stay at clarkton. Clarkton has also his own bar inside the hotel and I think their cook is quite good (expat).

Clarkton is run by a German guy. If that doesnt scare you off then you welcome to stay over there.

BTW I am also German.

Just arrived in AC for the first time, I've read the forum extensively but was wondering which bars currently have the best lineup? I know it is opinion but just like to hear a few. If anyone wants to meet for a beer I'm here for the next 3 days.

Also anyone know if you can buy V or C at the pharmacy without a prescription?

I agree with whats been said. I never even made it to Perimeter. I stayed for 2 weeks and went to 2-3 different bars every night on Fields. It was nice not having to worry about a jeepney ride back to my hotel. Clarkton has maybe 7-10 bars nearby, Fields too many to count, including what became my favorite "Forbidden City"

Anyway, like I said I haven't been to Clarkton, so I can't offer any insights, but I do know my time on Fields at PB was heaven!

Thanks for the hotel advise guys, its a tough choice between the clarkton hotel or pacific breeze, unless onther felow mongerers can suggest other good hotels in AC, I would like to be near the action, but have a good hotel, with good food, and pool etc. But reasonably priced.

Its my first time there so looking for some good advise.

And yes, you do not need a script for V or C, but buy it from a pharmacy and not a street vendor, but you probably knew that.

Thanks for the input. I tried Genesis last night. Not sure why was just walking by and decided I was thirsty and needed to get the ball rolling. There was a lot of girls. I think this is because they are attached to the place next door and rotate them between the two (I think). But between hostesses and bikini girls there had to be at least 50 girls to choose from possibly more. Met a charming girl and bought here few lady drinks. Decided to pull the trigger after a while and bring her back to the hotel. Sex was good and she was friendly but she of course wanted to leave afterwards which I expected after reading the forum. This seems common and I overheard 2 girls joking about how the girls who spend the whole night are fools. So I guess that if you really want LT you better negotiate it up front and give her some incentive to keep their word. Unfortunately since you already paid their is no bargaining power where you could decrease the price of service for a shorter time. But in general $30-$35 for ST is still a deal compared to places like Brazil or Peru.

Well I'll take the advice of some of the board members tonight and check out some of the recommended spots and see how my luck goes. Happy hunting gentlemen.

I'm an older guy (63) and have always found the ladies at Doll House and Ponytails very friendly. Things are constantly changing in AC but for now Ponytails is where I feel most comfortable. I was in AC last May and barfined two different ladies at Ponytails. The two ladies where great. Good luck

JCR[/QUOTE]This has been discussed a lot recently. Over the last 7 years for me and more or less time for others, there has been a noticeable increase in the 'Short time only' bar girls. Mainly in the so called "spot light dancers" or the good old "hotties".

Years ago, JREG kept a list of the few so called "RUNNERS" to avoid.

Many blame the ASIAN influence. I have many lady friends that still laugh about the 234 or (222, 233 ???) Asian men. 2 minutes, 3 inches and 4000P tip! Can not really blame the girls. Just a shame though.

Maybe ST is what happens in their country. Or they just don't want the girls to be with them all night. But the trend is here to stay.

Whatever the reason, YOU MUST ASK THE GIRL IF SHE WILL STAY ALL NIGHT! I specifically ask for all night and to have breakfast. You can have the MAMASAN explain the deal to the girl(s) as well.
