There are some pearls in response to this very nice post.

Personally, I think 6,000 is a bit steep, especially for off-season and with the occupancy rates down so much.

I'd try Centre Point, Langsuan (Chidlom, 2 stops past Nana going towards Siam), which has deals this time of year of around 3500 for a 2 bedroom apartment. There are several Centre Points around town. When I lived outside of town, I used to stay there all the time when I came to BKK.
