I never said inflation was not a problem in Colombia!
I said it was not being caused by the exchange rate. There is an individual trolling me from thread to thread and I needed to put him in check. That was the purpose of my statement. Not to say the average Colombian is doing great!
I am new to Colombia. I have no frame of reference. I pay 1000 COP for a small cup of coffee at the the Panaderia next to the building I stay in. I have been getting a exchange rate of 3800 - 4200 COP to 1 USD during my last three visits.
Financial statistics are saying the inflation rate in Colombia is 13% plus. Those are the official numbers. We all know that government officials around the world game those numbers.
The inflation numbers are not real and they do not measure the true rate of inflation that exists in the economy. True rates of inflation are much higher. Because if you are not buying what is in the basket of goods that they are measuring, your personal rate of inflation could be much higher.
Inflation is theft by the Central Bankers of the value of the fiat currency that you hold. It is insidious like the frog having the heat turned up on them. It is wrong. It is a devaluation of the fiat currency that you hold. And it is hard on regular people. No doubt!
The Colombians that do business with gringos probably are doing well, like real estate agents, lawyers, accountants, doctors. I think these are not average Colombian.
Before COVID it was about 3 K to 1 USD, it went to 5 K, then 4 K now. For average locals that monger in Centro. The rate went from 30 K to 40 K. A cup of coffee that used to be 200 is 500 now. The dinner from the street stand was 4 k, but it is 6 K now. Phone bill is also higher. I don't know how much raise the locals get. Unless they work for gringo, I guess they are not better off. My local friend was complaining about construction material cost has increased significantly higher, and their kid was surprised to learn that the properties are much higher to afford one now.
I get tired of putting mother fuckers in check that speak out of turn
Individuals who live in sex prison countries look at expats living overseas the way a poor kid looks into the window of a candy store. With a combination of envy and hope.
They are like a batter that has studied everything they can about hitting a 100 MPH fastball, but have only taken batting practice. They have never stepped into the batter's box under game conditions and tried to actually hit that 100 MPH fastball.
I get that and I understand. That when I post. And I do my best to be understanding of those who think they know it all. I am not posting from the standpoint of living in a sex prison country. I live in a land where pussy is plentiful. I have worked my ass off learning Spanish because I am intelligent and do not have a lazy mind. I get the best feeling when individuals here in Colombia complement me on my Spanish. It is actually a sad commentary on other visitors from my country of origin that they arrive with poor language skills.
I get it that if you are there a while and want to date and are fluent enough in Spanish there may be options to find a non-pro.
My focus has always been on non-pros since I moved out of my country of origin. If someone else wants to focus on putting their efforts in procuring prostitutes I think that is ok. I will not tell another grown man who they should be fucking or how to spend their hard earned money (Man Law 101). If they like it, I love it!
Assuming you are also relatively young and may be partner material.
Dead Wrong! You make the assumption in this statement, and in many others throughout your post, that you know the objectives of every girl in Colombia. You don't! You also make the assumption in this statement and others below that age differences are a problem with every girl. Another error on your part. Unless you can bring me some proof, I will operate with the knowledge that this is your opinion. And we all know they are like the hole in our ass that everyone has.
But for someone in the more senior demographic
What the fuck does that mean? Speak clearly and directly up in here. We are all men. At what age to you enter the mother fucking "senior demographic"?
the majority on here, you have nothing to offer but a stiff prick and money, and you will get laid for money. And by my definition getting laid for money is a pro. Even if she is not very good at it.
In this statement you are speaking for yourself. You cannot speak for the the men of this site no matter what demographic they are in. For me this is another example of how if you think like a hammer, you tend to see everything as a nail. And those thoughts will drive your solution to problems. So really, you need to speak for yourself and not project your individual or personal deficiencies onto others. Once again, I accept this is your opinion. And I hope you accept that I strongly disagree with it.
And most of us have nothing to offer the chicas 30 or 40 years younger than us other than money in exchange for sex.
Once again, you cannot speak for the entire population of ISG. You can only speak for yourself. And your assumption is that once again the age difference matters. You make the assumption once again that you know the objects and desires of all girls in Colombia. Since this is how your think, this is how it is for you. I understand this. And you have the right to think that like that.
But I am not going to let you think for me. You are discounting the value of friendship. The value of making a real connection with someone and how that part of a relationship can actually work for a girl. And the age difference does not matter to every girl in Colombia.
And I am speaking from personal experience and the experience of two of my very good friends operating in Colombia on a personal basis with no problems making contract with girls that are younger than them and spend time with them without money being the primary factor. To me you statement is fatalistic and shows signs of self hate in that you cannot value all the things that you could bring into the life of a young girl if you did not see every girl a hole that you pay in order to stick your dick into.
Yes, if I was living there and wanted to find a non-pro, say a woman in her 50's looking for a partner, perhaps I could. But I have no interest in that.
If you want to learn how to hit the 100 MPH fastball, get in the batters box under game conditions. Your assumptions are WACK! Your mind is closed. And therefore you cannot see the potential that is possible with a open mind and different set of attitudes that are not spawned from a lifetime of living in sex prison with the occasional pass to the outside for good behavior.
I do what you say can't be done in the Dominican Republic. But I have had boots on the ground there for nearly 10 years. I can work the system and I know the culture. I am new to Colombia. But I see a lot of the same situations that girls are in that will lead them to making excellent non-pro "amigas con derechos". I am having the same conversations that I have had in the Dominican Republic with girls. But what I notice is that they are not trying to drop the panties immediately. They want to go out on a date. They want to get to know me. I am good with that. Always have been. Because I have found that is the ONLY way that you develop a relationship with a non-pro that is NOT based on money.
If anyone up in here thinks that free sex exists then they need to re educate themselves about the way relationships work. Take the greatest example of a non-pro relationship: Marriage. Enough said!
Continue to sit in the stands and watch me knock that 100 MPH fastball out of the park!
How you like me now?
