And I though that you could only get $10 hookers in Cuba but wow just came back from fucking Lluvia she is at the stairs hotel next to Tangas, in that place there is mostly awful fugly hookers.

Apparently some people have had good look around the Tangas area, and others haven't.

Upon leaving Tangas, if you turn to the right and walk about two or three blocks, you need to walk with a friend, or someone you trust. If not, you could get stopped by some really BAD, NASTY gals who will proposition you, but, there's one, especially, who will tell you that if you don't give her 200 pesos she will call the police and get you in trouble. Some of these gals work directly with the crooked cops in the area.

So I think BW has a valid point, there are other places to look.

He told me some girls are posing as prostitutes in this area, and that they will approach you, and try to get you to go with them. They are working with the crooked cops in this area. You won't get any pussy from these girls. You will just get busted by the cops, and they will take your money. They will give a kick-back to the girl. It's just a scam to rob you of your money. They have lots of practice at doing this, so they are good at it. Beware.

When I was walking through this area one day with Rubin, one of these fake prostitutes approached me and asked me if I wanted to have a good time. Rubin leaned over to me, and quietly said, "That's one of them," meaning she was a fake prostitute working with the cops. Rubin told me she was bad news.

You don't need a friend, you sound like you are children than can be taken advantage very easily.

Just walk very fast in and out don't acknowledge anyone the walk is straight forward up and down from the bridge, there a 3 hot girls in tangas and the good thing is that you can take them next door to the stairs hotel, there a lot of people in the tangas area so you can easily blend in if you walk fast and don't stop.

Keep in mind that my post was not about Tangas itself, it was about the area about two to three blocks east of Tangas (standing in front of Tangas like you're leaving), and turning to the right. It is in this area where these bad gals work, with the cops, to rip males of.

Their money, and especially americanos. When in a foreign country, and one as corrupt as Mexico, an American really has no rights against the crooked cops. By walking with someone else, the gals are less apt to bother someone. Walk alone and they can and do.

Take advantage of men in this area. I have talked to two American men who have told me horror stories.

The worst gal of all has dark hair, sometimes says her name is "Maricela," and she is a prostitute. I have heard of her robbing men in the hotel rooms after the deed is done.

Am saying that this is an area where one should use extreme caution and not be in after dark. And I am one who almost always prefers to walk alone in Juarez. Overall, reports of Tangas itself that I have heard of, have been OK.

Made the 1.5 HR drive to EP and park in $2 lot near end of Stanton or Mesa. Walked across bridge. 5-buck taxi to Escobar why Americas. Swapped see note for 1355 pesos at one of the changers on Americas. Walked to Venus. Ugh. Not the quality I've come to expect. This was early afternoon, 2 ish. I did not ask about Brenda or Joanna. Went with April, very pretty face. OK body. Terrible performance. Here's an extra hundred pesos to finish me by mouth because this is getting like work. Walked up to Toro Bronco for couple beers and their terrific selection of salsas. Fantastic restaurant, hard working people. Walked to. Damn my memory. The white building on corner across from big hotel (Villa Manport?) on Escobar. One gal, maybe 30-35, fairly slender and attractive would have been good I think. Nice eye contact. But I was not quite ready so strolled south to 16 de Septiembre, then west toward centro. Again, sorry, forgot name of place that is next to a decent little bar, HSBC and Santander nearby. Went with Balliet or some such. 500 for hour. She was no prize but enthusiastic and appreciative. I should have walked back to Escobar. Damage done, they called taxi but while waiting outside policia drove by so I started walking toward centro. Taxi driver caught up with me. Nice fellow. Easy walk across border and dinner at Luby's (exciting, eh?) before dark-thirty. Total damage from crossing to crossing, including good beer and chips, 2 pops, taxi, <$100. I needed to go to EP anyway. Considered double money, half the nut, 10 times quality at Kims. But needed the walk and adventure. Boring but that's the size of it.
