It is a good read. It is funny that the author ended up in Medellin.
Also lives in Miami, Immigration attorney.. maybe part time Medellin. 6 X bestseller on Amazon. Looking forward to the read & perhaps meet him in person. Seems to hang out places near my usual hotel. Thanks again.
I personally did not take "no sex tourism" seriously
My airbnb specifically said "no sex tourism". My airbnb had a doorman but I specifically got an airbnb on 1st floor away from doorman. I averaged about 2-3 girls per day for 2 weeks, never was questioned by doorman nor host. I know my doorman saw at least a couple of my girls come and go, especially when one of my longer term girls took out the trash walking right by the doorman and giving him a hola, como esta? I should also note I added a 2nd guest to my airbnb (at no additional cost) prior to paying for it. Did this in the event if I was ever questioned I would say the girl is my guest. But never had too.
I have been exploring the listings of Abnb places in Medellin. There are quite a few that expressly say no sex tourism or "no hookers". It is a shame that a number of those places are very nice. A lot more places say that visitors are not allowed or the registered guests are allowed, meaning if you have a special girl. Medellin probably has more Abnb places with guest restrictions than other cities. There is definitely a lot of hosts who do not want the business of gringos engaged in mongering so be careful about reading the house rules when trying to book an Abnb place.
If you are a casa guy or El Centro streetwalker fan, it will not be a problem and there are a lot of great places that you can stay for a reasonable price. There are still a number of good places on Abnb that are guest friendly but I would say it is a minority of listings on Abnb.
It is the same with the hotels. There are guest friendly hotels but there are also a lot of hotels that do not allow guests or charge a high price for visitors.
You don't run into this issue as much in Thailand or the Philippines or even Mexico. But apparently it is an issue in Medellin.
Don't be naive, they know what were there for and they care more about renting there shit out than the no sex tourism bs.
El Centro: The Truth Revealed
I am here to call bullshit on Miamiboy1 and his stupid inaccurate posts about El Centro in Medellin.
Here is a beautiful diamond in the rough I just found near the Veracruz Church area. 22 year old paisa named Monica. She said she used to work in a restaurant but started doing this 2 months ago as she needed to earn more plata to help support her family. She is far from what ever the hell a street urchin is, in fact she was friendly, affectionate, and had an excellent body and cute smile also gave an impeccable unrushed service as well.
Afterwards I walked a couple of blocks to Restaurante Mi llanerito and am currently enjoying a delicious lunch of carne ternera a la llanera.
So please do tell us, MiamiB*tch, what is so bad about El Centro that makes you constantly have to spew your inaccurate hateful misinformation?
Or are you willing to admit that you've just been talking out of your ass this entire time, bro??

You don't see that in Brazil? LOL. Hell, even if a woman wanted to be on time, you never know with the traffic in Sao Paulo.....
I had hookers and regular girls came to my place in Sao Paulo and elsewhere regularly and they were all on time that I don't wonder about where they were like in Colombia, but that does not mean all will be on time. Most Colombian hookers are less educated, and don't want to work regular job so that maybe one reason. You need to provide a context before making comparison.
I have been to many bars in Sao Paulo, and have never seen what you described. Why do men still go to clubs if it's that easy. This is the hottest encounter I have seen. Most larger apartments in El Poblado have maid quarter with bathroom so it's no big deal. I have been to several of them. It is cheap to hire a maid too. The apartments aren't expensive by US standard. I have stayed in gated community that is filled with custom homes in Brazil. This one has a soccer field in it.
Internet are filled with people don't know what they are talking about so your links are useless. Like a guy can claim Agentina is better than Colombia when the guy has never been to Colombia. Just because a guy said that will make it true?
