THey used to be 24/7 a few years ago but I'm pretty sure they are open by 6 for the commuter crowd and the casino people. They use good food handling techniques. Manolos is also very popular. The neigborhood would not be the same without them.

I tried to see her once a month, but mostly I wanted to get a good sense before I got in too deep emotionally and perhaps financially. It is best to encourage an open relationship, you can see other women while she is allowed to roam free while you are gone. It also lightens the load, someone else can take care of her ass while you are gone and she will not feel the need to lie and deceive you.
Lastly, they EXPECT you to be a dog and have multiple women, yes they'll get jealous, throw fits but it is part of the game and their cultural upbringing. I agree with what you said carrib, but what sucks is you have to be mean and tough. Unfortunately when you are that way with a chica she now respects you. There was an article in the New York Post yesterday and it talked about why a girl who liked bad boys and the reason it gave was that her father was a softie and in her dreams growing she craved a tough, arrogant man. Should be freelancers and streetwalkers out and about everyday.
Sunday is nice and quiet in Santo Domingo, with much less traffic.
You will be staying at Jaguar, you can take a stroll on Sunday afternoon after you check-in. With your back to the front door of the Jaguar, walk to your left (south, towards the Sea) , after about two blocks you will come to avenida independencia, to your left on the corner will be manolos restaurant, across the street will be the rear entrance to the Marriott Jaragua Hotel and Casino. Make a right on Independencia and walk about a block and you will come to Lapsus. Continue past Lapsus (walking west) and at the next street make a left and walk down the block and you will come to La Parada.
At Manolos you can make a left and walk east about 3-4 blocks to get to casas on avenida pasteur. 305 is on independencia 1/2 block east of pasteur. If you continue walking east on independencia eventually you will reach zona colonial.

There is a advantage to having the chica there anxiously waiting to get on all four (LOL) when you come every two month because its familarity, but at the same time its not old because you are not hitting it enough for it to become old and stale.

The first chica at 305 endeared herself to me while I sat with her on the sofa in 305 late one night (after many beers). There were three 25 year old white guys in 305 that night. One of those guys danced with and felt up just about every chica in the place. The three white guys were in a group. One of the white guys was drop dead drunk and eventually laid on a sofa and went to sleep. I was sitting at the sofa with the chica, she was massaging my leg and my junk. I prepaid Priceline, got to the hotel and the hotel had nothing from priceline showing I paid. I had to pay again and straighten out the billing when I returned to the states. Some travel sites for hotels in Santo Domingo don't show you the price with the 26% in taxes, some sites only give the total price including the 26% in hotel taxes info towards the end of the booking process (All Inclusive Hotels in DR don't charge the 26% in taxes).
Europa I was told charges a guest fee, when you enter with chicas. Boricua Online has stated that Hotel Napolitano is chica friendly with no guest fee. Hotel Mercure has a guest fee. Hotel Palacio has a guest fee. Hotel Venezia some times has a guest fee.
Hotel El Embajador was multiple chica friendly when I stayed there years ago, with no extra guest fee. Dominican Fiesta Hotel might be guest friendly. Hotel Barcelo is chica friendly if the chica is not dark skin, otherwise a high fee. Clarion is guest friendly if the chicas look decent, but you might get stopped at the Clarion.
Hodelpa Caribe Colonial Hotel, I stayed at one time, checked in with the GF, so I don't know their pro guest chica policy. Small rooms, A / C was not overly strong, small elevator, breakfast included was OK, small parking lot for cars, good location around the corner from the Hard Rock Cafe.
Before my last trip, before booking a package deal on Orbitz, I had some friends in Santo Domingo call various hotels in Santo Domingo and ask them about their guest policies.
Before you book a hotel, you may want to send that hotel an email and ask them what is their guest policy. I was told guests could visit me at the Barcelo (on the phone) , most had no problem visiting, but a few at night, some workers at the Barcelo had a problem with and said I would have to pay a high fee to allow them in. If you send an email asking about the rules and regs, you may want to ask about any fees for visitors. (reglas=rules, gratis=free, precio=price, visitantes=visitors). Cual es la regla por visitantes de quiren visitarme en el hotel? =What is the rule for visitors who want to visit me in the hotel? (my Spanish is not perfect). Gratis? =Free, Precio? =Price, Permitan? =Allowed, No Permitan? =Not Allowed. Having something in writing from the hotel, might help, if you encounter some security guard or other hotel worker at night who busts your balls about allowing in some chica. If you have an email from the hotel spelling out the rules and a worker at the hotel doesn't adhere to those rules, you can turn around and bust the balls of the hotel for not adhering to the email they sent you.

"Relationships between Dominican men and women seem strange and unfair to us, but it is their society and that's' how it works, like it or not. Men have the upper hand in all walks of life in the DR. Women have achieved many great things in the DR, but what is most important is how you assimilate your values while visiting and dating in the DR while easing up on the 'everyone is equal' concept that you were raised with.
Let those who date and have relationships with Dominicans tell you that you cannot take your western sensibilities and transfer them to the DR. Many men feel that showering Dominican girlfriends with gifts and doing everything for them and their family is a foolproof way to win their hearts, but that may work against you, as these women are not accustomed to dating this type of man.
A Dominican woman relies on the man to make the decisions-this may seem like weakness on their part but that is how it is.
