Hey fellow mongers,
Would appreciate if you can help me out with a peculiar hotel recommendation. Looking for a room with a large tub because I'm a large / heavy guy. Something near Nana or Cowboy or inbetween. Up to $100 per night would be my budget.
Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.
I usually get a corner suite at the Landmark. Approx US 150.
Can't beat the location next to Nana and the BTS and, of course, very girl friendly and great gym in building next door. Corner suite has nice views and good couch and seating area to entertain the Longtimers. Pool could use a refresh.
For Soi Cowboy, I rec the Grand Centrepoint Terminal 21. Excellent infinity pool, sauna, grounds, views of BKK, and some rooms have laundry. Sometimes there are deals for less than US 100. Good location for catching the trains up to Huay Khwang soapies as well.

For food and people watching options, Terminal 21 is across the street. You just have to cross Sukhumvit using the pedestrian bridge.
When you walk from Sheraton towards Nana, you will pass The Landmark. This Hotel is also highly rated and much closer to Nana.
I have not stayed at The Landmark, so I do not have any personal experience or recommendation.

Stayed here based on the recommendation in this forum. No fills hotel, near Nana BTS and the action center. No coffee in the room, but OK for a short economical stay. This is a new hotel with fresh interiors.

Or do you find the best deals on Agoda or [URL]Booking.com[/URL]?
Looking on some websites for rooms in Bangkok and Pattaya that have refrigerators. Looking at rooms near Nana Station for Bangkok. Nice to have a refrigerator to keep a few cold drinks / water in the room.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

There appears to be plenty of choices close to the center of town / action.
I will make reports after my trip and try to contribute back to this website.

Most hotel in Bangkok have refrigerators some low end 2 star may not, I like to freeze my bottle water to ice cold so frig is a must for me don't know your budget of to Agoda or booking I have stay in many hotel near Nana many hotel 1400 bht and up a night with frig and just about all hotel in Pattaya got it April suite stay there in may have a large size refrigerator and large room.

Now I am looking at apartotels with mini kitchens as well. In Pattaya, looking at NN Apartment, The Monaco Residence Pattaya and The Residence Garden for apartotels. And I can't believe that they are not guest friendly. The hotel websites are showing me a ton of choices, I'm looking at about a 1000 baht, or less, per night for most low end hotels / apartotels. Thank all of you for suffering my dumb questions, this will be my first trip to Thailand after decades of visiting central and south america. Just for a comparison, in Medellin there are low end hotels for around $10 a night and you can meet chicas in the park for around the same cost, $10. The local Casas start at around $15 for a chica's company.
I was thinking of having Rita over but not sure if it's like some of the hotels in Pataya where it's 20+.

For t21, less than 100 USD is uncommon, I think they had some sort of special early December last year. Just be careful when navigating their website, it is easy to navigate over to the other centrepoints in BKK.
