If you are spending money only to get more drama and not very good sex, its time to bounce and find another.

Orbitz, same dates, for europa hotel, $719, flying spirit, leave new york 6:45am arrive into santo domingo the same day, nov 2 at 3:23pm. Using the orbitz promo code TRAVEL100, the total price for air and hotel for 7 nights using Orbitz is $619. Priceline price for 6 nights, same hotel, same airline, would be $751. Using Orbitz you could save about $130US, enough to pay for three happy hours at GBP, (6 chicas at GBP).

Overpriced for that dump, although some of the street hookers rent rooms there, if that's what you're looking for.

Continental are / t EWR-SDQ is $366 on their website (including all taxes). That would make the line on your package price $576.

I'm thinking about getting an apartment in Santo Domingo, but I noticed a lot of websites have 2-6 bedrooms posted. Only problem is I will be traveling solo and just need a 1bedroom apartment. Are there any sites that have decent 1 bedroom apartments?

General rule of thumb here. Try the parco del caribe. But, if you want rundown low-life vibe or that's just your natural comfort zone, then yeah go for the Europa.

Venezia Hotel on Avenida Independencia, Santo Domingo is owned by an Italian guy, I was hit one time for a 500 peso guest fee for a chica who visited my room at the Venezia for 30 minutes. Other times chicas visited and I paid nothing. German owned hotel palacio in zona colonial did not have a chica fee when I stayed there years ago, but appears they now charge a chica fee after 9pm. Riazor is cuban owned and doesn't appear to have a chica fee. Jaguar, maybe the owner is Dominican, doesn't have a chica fee.

Altough I am a regular of the Dominican Republic, all my trips have been in the Sosua, Puerto Plata area, my next trip is reserved for end of Dec / 1st week of January. As will be in DR for 2 weeks, would like to spend a few days in Santo Domingo. After reading the posts, there is one hotel name that come back being the Jaguar hotel, I would like to confirm that contributors are talking about the Jaguar Apart Studio on Hermanos Deligne #59, Gazcue Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This is the only one that I have found on a Google search. Would also like to confirm that this place is Chica friendly?

Other question would be were would you think is better to spend the New Year eve, Santo Domingo or Boca Chica? Thanks ahead for those who will take time to reply.
