The only thing I agree with is Medellin is yesterday's news. There are so many gringos here it isn't funny. No wonder this guy is trying to scare some off. I was at a cafe a few days ago and all 8 tables were full of gringos. Not a colombian in sight.

I think this guy should just tell the truth, the reason not to come to Medellin is that gringos now outnumber prepagos (and besides that, not a helluva lot to do here)

I'm enjoying my time here, the girls are pretty and lots walking around. So far I have had much better luck getting dates with non pros than with prepagos, which tells you something.

But after a week, the inital euphoria has worn off, and I'm looking forward to the next stop, which will be outside of Colombia 'cause I think it's done here, at least for me, as I am 50, and competition here is way too fierce for my lazy ass. Every single kind of debauchees gringo from every country can now be found in Medellin. Mainly in the south though. From lleras on down to Sabaneta. Thats why people are learning to go to other areas and keep their mouths SHUT. Not only in other parts of Medellin but other parts of Colombia.

Keeping Medellin for themselves? That's laughable, Medellin has been on its way down for the past 3 years now.

The best way to do it is to connect through Miami or Orlando. You need to book 2 separate flights. One from Montreal to Miami and the other from Miami to Medellin. Give yourself lots of time to connect in Miami as the flights from South America are often delayed. Let me know if you need any further info.

And yeah, tons of europeans here as well. I have phone numbers of maybe 15 prepagos, most of them well known, and to find one available on a Monday night I had to call 10. Admittedly it was last minute, but everyone is calling all the same girls. So far my 2 episodes with the well known girls have been very disappointing. I'll try one more before sticking to the 2 non pros I have found, that have much better attitudes, and even though they are over 30, look as good as the 20 year olds. Heck, you can post here and charge less than what the standard rate is. And you will get guys banging down your door. Even a discount rate is better than a vacant apartment!

The area around the airport is crawling with love hotels and incall escort locations. Trust me, I used to live and work in the heart of it all. Of course, I understand wanting to avoid the stress of leaving the airport and then having to re-do the whole security screening drama.

It seems you are a little "Unluckie" when it comes to travel agents. Better inform the Dali, that flight 443 on Feb. 12 leaves out of Atlanta at 4:55 pm, and arrives in Bogota at 9:42 pm. Which means of course you will miss your Avianca flight to MDE, and will have to spend the night in Bogota and catch a flight to MDE the next day. Bummer.
