Where nowadays do you see girlie bars packed with people? On my recent trip in January this year I vaguely remember in Street 104 one bar on one night had a good vibe with mix of men and women. But most bars all up to Street 136 only had the occasional customer in or were completely devastated. It was easy to spot, the more girls sitting outside, the less customers, or more often none, were inside.

A lot of people complain about being the only customer in a Hostess bar. I don't mind this, although to be fair I don't normally go alone. So the bar is what we make of it fun wise. All the girls are available this is a plus. Its the bars that are full and no available girls that when we take a look inside that we will reject. Being an expat takes the "must do tonight" factor out of it. The girls also get to know you and dont try the lady drink scam on you unless you are in the mood for this. They know you and will respect you if your nice and fair.

I had a burger for dinner.

A Vietnam girl came who can speak English, not my type.

She called her friend to come, that 2nd girl is not that black, but she can't speak English.

Instead, she can speak Mandarin, and hopefully I know little.

I bought her a drink, and she ordered a soda.

We chat a little bit, she asked me if I would take her to the hotel, I asked how much, and she said 50ST and 100 LT.

1st time she was OK. Then, she said the after 2nd run, she wanted to leave and grab something to eat.

In fact, I didn't really pay attention.

I was thinking to give her 20, but you know, bad skill didn't make it.

It ended up that I gave her 30.

She said that she would come back until morning so that she could get the full amount. Balabala.

She just left 20 minutes ago.

I won't expect her coming back.

At least, it's better than last time.

I picked up a beautiful girl at a disco last winter in PP. Absolutely gorgeous and the best looking girl I have been with in Asia. After very nice and enthusiastic sex, we rested and was hoping for a second session as it was a short time arrangement.

Then, she started coughing and could not stop. A 1/2 hour later, she sat on the edge of bed still coughing. Finally, she left though I asked her to stay. She said her parents were expecting her to come home. That's why she could not do long time.

It was later that I read that TB is a significant health issue in PP and Cambodia in general. It is highly contagious and the bad air quality and dusty streets in PP can also contribute to this pernicious disease. I never developed any symptoms but it's something to keep in mind whilst in Cambodia; mongering or otherwise.

Of course, this is not as 10-15 years ago. There is nowhere that is. All locations are changing. But there are still many cute girls for a good price. When my girl's mother became ill, I had suddenly 4 days for me into the PP. What better to do than to go out and look for girls.

Day 1: Took a FL girl from Sorya Mall. Only 19 years old, no children. Sweet, totally GFE. LT $ 20.

Day 2: Took a massage on France Street (between Wat Prom and Japanese Bridge). She asked if I wanted extra. I wanted, but only in my room. She was off duty at 11 pm and came to my hotel. 28 years old, one baby but a good body. LT, $ 30.

S back in Phnom Penh late last year, and will be back in town early next month for 3 weeks, looking forward to some fun.

I didn't bother to post re my travels last year as nothing exceptional to report. Took one enthusiastic but not overly hot girl from Helicopter Bar from St 136 - had a couple of interesting afternoon drinking sessions and interactions with the girls at Butterfly Bar also on St 136, strange place as in the girls all appear to be a bit wired and crazy, or is this just a day time hours thing?

One place I frequented for the first time was Apple Bar on St 172 - a damn fine selection of girls, probably the best I came across however I didn't bar fine any girls from there. There was one super cutie who spoke barely zero English. My moderate Khmer got us by, she was fresh from the province and was really hot. Barely 20, might have to swing by and see how I fare this time? Have any PP regulars been to this place and can you comment? I don't recall reading any reviews about Apple Bar on here before?

So. This leads me to a question if I may, Nay Nay Star having been a mainstay of the scene for many a year, had the on site room which was a bonus, and always a decent selection of girls. Can any PP locals and regulars comment on what the place is like since the re-branding and outside change of image to Valhalla? Still a good selection of girls? Do they still accommodate on site room for playtime??

Looking forward to being back in PP soon.

Since sold it has gone through renovations and is not openly acting as a guest house with St rooms anymore. And yes, action on site still possible but I got the impression, from last January, that some or all? Of the girls are freelancers as one girl I had a chat with the night before, I met again in a Street 104 bar. All nights it was very quiet but music on conversational level. Not impressed by the quality of the girls at all, so a hit or miss. I would consider this a little sleazy type of bar on the same level as Bunny Bar in Street 104, But the number of girls and looks are better in Bunny Bar where you can also arrange for private use of the backside couches or the upstairs pool area. Just ask and the girl will arrange for you, same as it always have been in Bar 104. Take 2 girls upstairs and they arranged nobody will attend upstairs. So all in all there are better options than Nay Nay Star. I stayed in the hotel at the street corner for a week in January this year.

Then I ask if she would go with me. If she says yes I tell her what I want and what I would pay her. On this trip to PP I asked 4 girls. All said yes and all accepted the amount as I offered. But I never tried to pay 15 dollar in BF. Is that normal in PP now? Last year I only paid 10 dollar in BF.
