More recently they die of accidental or deliberate overdoses of knock-out drugs like scopolamine. And based on the number of people I have personally met that have been drugged that way it is endemic. Of course you can do things to lower that risk, but it is endemic in Medellin and Bogota.

These are working girls from their own places that come in to the hotel, not in any way employed or controlled by the hotel, and may be available. During the day there may only be a very few or none sometimes. You say "plenty of girls". That will never be the case. Anything between none and maybe 6? I have not stayed there recently but during the day it was only a few around. At night they come into the bar next door, same as they might in any bar, and try to get business that way. It is a small bar so anything over 6 girls would be a lot. If you have very specific requirements I can almost guarantee there will never be one or two. Of course I have no idea what you consider medium quality or your type.

The Ibiza is a good suggestion and just know that if your a single gringo in Medellin there is no escaping the stereotype that your a sex tourist, 1000% end of story. The hotel your at and as your walking in the street or in a store or a mall every Colombian that you come across sees you as a visiting sex tourist, but don't worry because they could care less.

The apartments in Medellin are sooo overpriced for Airbnb. Not only for daily but monthly as well. You get way way more bang for your buck in Bogota for housing. It isn't even keeping up with inflation. Places that were 500-600 a month are now 1400 a month in less then 2 years time. I could see if it went up to like 900 or something but to have it more then double and ONLY in Medellin is insanity. It sucks and I don't think it will change unless Colombia puts in a law of some sort.

The place had a private elevator that opened into the apartment. The same apartment in MDE would be 80-100 bucks per night.

The problem is (again generally) that most of them I wouldn't pay to fuck.

During the day, it is indeed generally very slim pickings.

With all that said, the Mansion IMO is a fun place to stay.

Sometimes less, but more recently more as the cops have made the park harder at nigh|t.

Hello chaps. I live in London and typically monger in Spain. I love Latina women and Spain is full of them. One of my favorite cities (both for mongering and for visiting) is Madrid. The puticlubs in Madrid are full of beautiful Colombian and Venezuelan women which can be had for between EUR 100 and 200/ hour depending on the club. I've been debating whether or not it makes sense to visit Colombia (Cartagena and Medellin) vs. Just staying in Madrid. From watching Youtube videos, I really like the look of the girls in Club Gusto and El Poblado but quoted prices seem to be no better than Spain. I've seen a similar case in Cartagena where I see girls quoting in USD and at prices that would rival top clubs like Vive Madrid in Spain. Given flight costs and general lack of culture compared to a major city like Madrid (museums, restaurants, etc), I'm wondering if a trip to the source" is worth the cost / time? Many thanks!

I am searching for affordable airbnb / hotel near el poblado meets following criteria:

- Guest (Chica) Friendly (no hidden cost).

- Have 24 hours security guards / front desk who will check for ID going in / going out.

Where would that be? There is no such filters in airbnb.

Colombia is much, much cheaper than Spain (if you stay out of Gusto's) but it's also much, much more dangerous. But, you have the time and cost of the flight, so you'd need probably at least a week or ten days to break even on the sex. Spain has women from all over the world and Colombia has women from Colombia and Venezuela. Would I go to Colombia if I lived in the UK? No. If I was sick of Spain I would go to Bratislava. Lots of really great looking women there, although a totally different look from the latinas.

Trying new experiences is nearly always a good thing. Colombia is not Spain. Its very different in culture, and that in itself is worth experiencing. Its not great for fine arts and historic buildings but it does have its own attractions. Amazon rainforest, Guatape, Santa Marta old town, and the Colombian lifestyle. Its also extremely cheap and one does not need to spend EUR 100-200 for one hour. For example, I pay EUR 10-15. You could also set up a great tour. Mix in Galapagos, (try a couple of night in Guayaquil on the way), you could also fly direct to DR these days. Maybe you could get to Cuba from there (not sure). That would be a great trip for a first timer.

So yeah, my advice is try smething new and try not to comapre the 2 bcos they have different positives.
