Tijuana versus Thailand. Different Experiences
Well, frankly, the best experiences I've had in Asia are better than the best experiences I've had anywhere else. And actually, for about 10-12 years after 9/11, the Tijuana border was a complete mess, and impractical for quick crossing
I just picked up on last weeks exchanges regarding Asia versus Tijuana. I'll add my 2 pesos (or 2 baht, if you prefer).
Like #2041, my very best experiences have been in Asia, though I only have experience in Thailand. I prefer the small, thin, sweet girls you find in Asia over the larger women of Tijuana. Asia offers options far beyond Tijuana: simple tiny massage places, deluxe soapy massage, escorts, blow job bars (Hargow would appreciate these), street girls of different nationalities, and beer bar girls. I would guess that Zona Norte has about 200-300 girls available on a typical weekday evening. Bangkok's Nana Plaza may have 400 in that small area. And, if you walk 20 minutes to the East you may pass another 400 choices before you get a concentration of another 400 girls at Soi Cowboy. I haven't counted girls in any of these locations, but this is what it feels like.
When walking in Thailand, I always feel safe. I don't have that feeling in Tijuana. And everybody is polite and friendly in Thailand.
In Thailand I always receive exactly what I want. Never a question of what was available. I find the girls far more affectionate and just plain nicer. In Tijuana that 1-hour escort agency session is typically 60 minutes. The 30 minute session with an HK girl is typically 20-30 minutes. But, that "short time" 1-hour session with a Nana Plaza bar girl will probably run well over 2 hours. I never felt rushed in Thailand.
I feel the girls in HK and AB are clean, but I question many of the street girls and girls at other bars. In Thailand it seems all the girls are very clean, including the little hole-in-the wall massage places.
I get more for my money once I am in Thailand than when in Tijuana, but, the cost and time involved in flying to Asia is huge. For those on a budget (or time constrained), Tijuana is still a good choice. I will make a point to get to Asia at least twice a year, it simply provides something that isn't available elsewhere.
Angkor wat is in Cambodia
I always did. Side trips to places like Angkor Wat, Koh Samui, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Ayutthaya when in Thailand, Prambanam Borobudur, and the Gilli Islands when in Indonesia made me a more well rounded person with a better appreciation of other cultures and other lands. And P4 P is available in all of those far flung venues, just not in the massive concentrations and easy proximity of BKK, Pattaya, Bali and Jakarta. So on a 3 day side trip to Angkor Wat, I still managed two P4 P encounters with locals (one of which was a GFE overnighter for $20 US), as well as touring the largest and most interesting temple complex on the planet.
Angkor wat is in Cambodia, unless they recently moved the whole complex to thailand, since I first visited there in 2000. Back then phonom penh was mostly dirt roads and the best way to the wat was up the river and thru the lake tonte sap. a pound of marijuana at the russian market was like $10.
The Annual VIP Stripper contest
The VIP Stripper contest is the largest and most fun event of the year. Most strippers would be there competing for the Grand Prize, a sports car, or the $2000 cash second prize.
Last year there were a couple local amateurs who competed. These girls were local beauties, not working girls, who looked stunning like movie stars. They just want to show off their bodies and stripping skills, not to make a living.
The competing strippers would bring their friends and families to boost, making loud noise to cheer them up. A whole bunch of teen-aged stripper wannabes from San Diego would be there staring and cheering.
There will be special performances by a stripper, levitating herself up from the floor to high ceiling, hiding in long silk sheets.
It's Overall the sexiest and most fun event of the year.
I am planning my first trip to Tijuana, and the famous Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club. I suspect that some of the events that they hold there might be a good time for this trip. The two that are coming fairly soon that interest me are the Spring Break, and the Chica's VIP contest. My question is which one do you think is the most fun? Also, since this is my first time in Tijuana since I was stationed in San Diego while in the Navy. That was in 1965. I suspect it has changed dramatically. Is there any interest in getting a group of mongers together for either of these events. Would be fun to meet some of you, and do a little partying!
Read what you wrote, no shit
No shit, really? Yes, it's in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Which is a very short side trip from Bangkok. They have these things called airplanes that take people there. There are nonstop flights between Bangkok and Siem Reap via Bangkok Airlines, AirAsia, and ThaiSmile Air. I took a side trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia when I was in Thailand. For those on a smaller budget, with more time to kill, they also have buses that go there from Bangkok or Khorat. BTW, the flight between BKK and Siem Reap is shorter than the flights from BKK to Chiang Mai or to Phuket - about an hour flight each way.

Side trips to places like Angkor what, Koh Samui, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Ayutthaya when in Thailand," this means when you are in thailand, these are the places you go when "IN thailand. ". anyone not familiar with SE Asia would assume angkor wat is in thailand, when reading it.
