Bandit Country. Stumbling along the periphery
It's always nice to have a free afternoon, and met up with a friend waaay out in Minhang, near JaoTong University for a stumbling stroll and check out the action. He knows the manager and shows you a VIP card. He'll tell you it's a big place with lots of girls to choose from. He'll tell you that you can get a massage, BJ, FS. Etc. You arrive at a decent looking place and it looks like a KTV. You go in, sit on the couch, and the mamasan brings some girls in for the lineup. Pretty girls so you pick one. She comes over and sits next to you on the couch and the mamasan tells you to talk to the girl for awhile and get to know each other. They are busy and you have to wait for a room They offer you a beer or water. They bring some lady drinks in. You confirm the price just to be sure. 100 for massage and then 200 more for FS. That is the security that he has to pay and that is why he needs the money from you! He asks you to take everything out of your pockets. All your cash and to count it. You look up at the 2 Kung Fu dudes. You're in a room with one way out, upstairs on the 2nd floor. Your mind races trying to think of what to do. If you don't pay it, will they beat you, or kill you, or just cut out your kidneys to sell them, and leave you dying in an alley somewhere? Is your life worth 39000 rmb? Most people might think so. If you don't happen to be walking around with a stack of red Mao's totaling 39000 rmb in your pocket, he'll ask about your credit cards and tell you to just pay with that. You say you don't have them or enough credit for 39000 rmb. He asks if you lie to him? Hmmm. What do you do now. What do you tell him? He says that he will try to use your credit cards and that you better not lie to him. So what do you do. How do you make it out of here alive? How do you negotiate your life? Do you pay? Even if you pay, will they still beat you, or kill you, or kidnap you so your family pays more money. Remember, this is CHINA as he reminded you. Things work different here. Maybe you will think of something? Did you learn your lesson? What country will you go to next looking for some sexy girls? What are their rules? How will it work there?
