I have a psychology degree (amongst other things) research in USA has shown there are some universal facial traits that are rated highly but as this was done in US who knows if it is cross cultural.

Ever since my earliest childhood I can recall being strongly attracted to Asian women. Maybe Its like a duck imprinting coz I was around Chinese girls in those years... Fond memories og being 7 years old and sitting there with a stiffy next to an 'older woman' of 10. Lol! :)
It could also be the practical aspect,Im jocky sized so little asian women are perfect size for me (and them). I did have an aussie shiela gf once who was a 6 footer (2 meter). Though I live and work in Davao, I just spent the last five weeks in E. Africa, and it was my first time being back on that continent in about ten years. I had forgotten how different are the standards of beauty of African men, who love enormous asses and tits that are bigger than my Filipina wife's entire body. My African friends could not understand what I found attractive about petite women with small breasts, and were constantly amazed at my choices while I was out with them. I, on the other hand, could simply not have performed with the ladies they picked up; not even if fueled with enough viagra to turn uncooked spaghetti into a rod of steel.

I'm with Amavida on this. Give me petite, with a small adorable ass and breasts in proportion to the body size and I'm in heaven, assuming she has nice legs. Give my African friends the same sort of woman and they would die laughing. I think this has less to do with duck imprinting than the cultural norms with which we grow up and maybe some genetic hard wiring. I include the genetic component because I am otherwise unable to explain my predilection for Asian women of almost any nationality.

Why would think that there is a "Univeral Standard" for beauty when there is not a "Universal Standard" for anything else. I think if you are looking for for a "Universal Truism" then I would have to go with "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"

To me they are "chubby". To someone else they are something else. Some guys like fat girls, some like them skinny and others in between. My only point is to relay info to newbies what to expect. In life, we all take risks. Simply flying to Davao (or anywhere else) has it's risks. The decision as to what risks we are each willing to take is a very personal matter. Some folks accept the risk of smoking because they enjoy it and are willing to accept the risk. Some folks wear condoms to avoid risk of STDs. Some of us feel that the pleasure of bareback sex is worth the inherent risk. I personally HATE condoms, so I am VERY selective about who a have sex with.
