Also, I like the ability to make the image fullscreen, and the LACK of this utility is a major drawback to SAC. A way around this is to get their YM then open the cam on Ym instead of SAC while you still have SAC open in private mode so she gets paid.

NEW cellphones (Nokia) can be purchased for under 2000 Piso and both times I bought used ones they developed problems soon after leaving Manila (where I bought them-at Robinson's Ermita in the cellphone vendor section).

So I suggest either bring your phone from home (to get it unlocked will cost $10) or buying a new phone in PI (rather than risking it with a used one).

So, any "dopes" out there? I've never paid for cam, but I've also never thought of those who do as "dopes". I do rent porn, does that make me a dope.

As for hatefulness, please see the AV and X comments in the AC thread where AV and I have some gentelmanly disagreements.

Anyway, AV provides no specific details, and writes in plural as if he beds cam girls every weekend.

Has anyone met AV? Does he really live in the Philippines? I'm sorry if I sound antagonistic, but red flags start unfurling almost every time I read an AV post.

And, I'll be in Cebu Monday if anyone wants to meet up.

Just thought I would mention that one of my GF's has just told me that you can now get a sim card from Smart that is enabled for roaming for 70php. 1php for local txt's & 20php for txt's when out of the country. I guess Globe does the same thing but Im too lazy to go check.
This could be helpful for mongers who wish to stay in touch with GF's when back in their home country.

you need 100 p load for smart. You can easily do that when u leave the country at the airport. You can buy prepaid load at the mashines, bt you need pesos for that. TXT ROAM to 333 and wait, after a while your cp get ready for roaming.

Note: after you txt ROAM and your cp is on roaming you cant load any more, you need to send another txt to call ROAMING off.
It said it needs to be at least one hour time before leaving the country to apply for roaming. My experience after some minutes I send my txt evrything was ok.

Like AV says, its nice to play tricks on the gurls, they dont know if you in or out of the country.it will allways show your PI number :D

Slight correction to above: you can still reload while you are roaming, you just have to do it via text message and you must have at least 100p in your account. Take some 300p load cards with you, you can usually activate them anytime before the expiration date shown on the card. Once you activate a 300p card, its load is good for 60 days so take care to load again before the 60 days are up, then you can do reload yourself. You could use smaller cards, but they expire a lot faster, and at 20p per outgoing text while you roam, you will use them up quickly.

Don't query your balance too often, that is also treated as an outgoing message for which you are charged. Just keep track of how many texts you sent since your last load.

If you get below 100p, you need to get your account back over 100p within the day or you will lose your ability to send out texts. If that happens, you will need someone in the PI to buy load for you and send it to your phone.

To reload, send a text message "RELOAD <PIN>" to 1510. More detailed directions can be found at the Smart website.

I had to txt to call raoming off and then I load again while calling 1510 plus the code on the prepaid card. If you alllready on roam in the Phils you cant do it that way, you need to txt.
BTW I once made mistake, shy to tell here :D, once I arrived in PI, freshly showerd , first thing was to buy simcard and load for my cp. I tried many times to send load to 1510 but it doesnt worked...guess why....I had to change my cp to SEND NUMBER, it was still on HIDE UR OWN NUMBER, you cant load if ur number cant be seen...you also cant make phone calls with your cp if you HIDE ur number, funny, maybe its about security reasons, so many scams in PI lol....anybody can answer on that???

Even AT&T only charges 25cents for international texts from my iphone! A BETTER option is ipipi.com which charges only 10cents to send text messages to cellphones in PI. Also, they cannot get your cell number to text you back at inopportune moments.

AT&T has a package of 100 international texts for $10 or 10cents each also.

SMART is DREADFUL: ; I hate them almost as I hate Philippine Airlines. REAL cell carriers are trying to break in to the PI market but the rule only allowing foreign companies to own 40% of assets in PI prevents it from happening. SMART & GLOBE are too powerful to let their co monopoly be ruined by real competition.
