I passed today Porte Dorée and I was amazed to see so many Chinese walking and working between the Porte de Charenton and the Porte de Saint Mandé.
I counted at least 25, most in the mid 30/40 but saw 2 younger ones.
I could not resist and took one to the usual hotel.

The impression I received from French women is that they tend to prefer their own kind. Iused to have the impression that France is supposed to a liberal society but most of my personal experiences there have been the complete opposite. Very rarely do they interact in a positive way with foreigners, unless they look like they have a lot of money. I went into a bank in Paris to exchange money, the lady at the bank eyeballed me in a very unfriendly way, as soon as I showed her my US passport, the expression on her face completely changed into the biggest smile I have ever seen. I knew at this moment she thought I was the "rich American" and I guess compared to this woman or any of the others in this bank I earn as much as 20 to 50 times their income from my own business. I go out of my way to avoid golddigger types like that lady.

Last week the hotel in Les lilas was still operating (the one run by the black guy), The other one in Les Lilas does not accept you anymore if you come with a Chinese girl. Maybe she got confused or wanted you to go somewhere closer.

The scene in Paris has went very downhill since 2001, I recall in that day before the Euro, I found it easy to find wonderful women around the Arc area. Hi Gents

I am off to Paris again soon, visit the place 5-10 per year, and have never tried any pro's there. Based upon the reports in this forum, the pro scene seems to be non-spectacular and expensive.
