I've been doing a bit of reading on the forums and just booked my ticket for August 14th - 18th. Was seeing if anyone was interested in meeting up?
I'm 30, have been working on building a FB friends list, speak a tiny bit of Spanish, like to smoke and drink, but enjoy meeting people from all ages and backgrounds. Send me a direct message if interested!

How much, what you get, and your overall experience will vary greatly and is all up for negotiation. If you approach one, she may have a preferred hotel, you can choose your own short time hotel, or if you're willing to take on the risk, you can take them back to your hotel. Doing that with someone you met from El Centro is stupid, don't take them back to your hotel. If they don't want to go to the hotel of your choice or the one they're directly in front of, know that the chances that you're going to have problems goes up a lot. Doing this is risky. People have gotten robbed, beaten up, and killed doing this. It probably won't happen, but know that it's not a low risk activity like a casa.

The last time I went to New Life they only charged you a viewing fee if you didn't pick a girl from a line up. Can anyone confirm that all casas in Medellíand are doing this or which ones? More upcharging.

I can't confirm or deny what New Life does. As for the others (Aiffe, Amigas Sexxy, Aventura, Zandaly), no they do not charge locals or regular known customers a viewing fee. They do use the viewing fee to control and discourage large groups of Lookie Lou tourists from clogging the reception areas and tiring the girls with lineups that don't make them or the casa any money. So, to avoid a viewing fee you can buy a drink or fuck a girl.

I think I remembered reading about the change in passing a while back. I could be very wrong (god knows I've been wrong before).

The half hour rate is up a bit from what it was pre-covid, seems like it is around 60 mil now.

Looking for an apartment on a higher floor with nice views of Medellin mountains. Must have a reception in front. And very guest friendly. In Laureles but can consider Poblado as well as cost is below hundred bucks a night.
Basically oomething along the lines of San Peter minus the terrible noise. Found few but they are not in high rise buildings. I am not comfortable staying in someone's house or in one corner of it.
Do you know any airbnb in Laureles or Poblado that fits the bill? (Away from LA 70 of course).

We went to cartagena couple years ago and fell in love with that place. Unfortunately can't go back as an option but have the opportunity to go to medellin. I've been slowly following all the threads but is medellin better than cartagena?
One of the reasons I loved cartagena so much was the club. Being able to go to dolce then just chill and pick out any girls was amazing. It seems as reading these reviews that medellin is not really like that. I'm not really a fan of the street pick up aspect of everything I rather be in the club (maybe its just cultural) but does medellin have any of that. Everything seems to be outside lleras park.
I also read that medellins environmennt makes it difficult to bring girls back to the airbnb compared to cartagena because houses are usally further away from the park?
Anyways were deciding between medellin, panam city / Costa Rica / mexico city but were heavily leaning on medellin. The outdoor thing just doesn't jive well with us.
