You have to read them a bit. I find it helps to have lunch or coffee and look if she's showing up on her own dime or not, and even how eager she is to move to your place. Personally I prefer to not scare off the nonpros so I wait to see what the girl will say or do. If she wants a regalito I'd just give her 200 or 250. I would say I've almost always had a better experience with those "regalito" types than the ones who give me the whole menu, time limits, and a rule book. My philosophy also is why pay for what you can get for free. I've also had one or two charge me the first time and then say they'd go out with me for free. Am back in the states but had a girl living for me for around 20 days for the price of some lunch and dinner dates, a trip up to a cabaña in Santa Elena one weekend, and a few small gifts.

One member reported paying the second time in the room. Whether it is true or not, it's better to confirm if you are a not sure. I would not tip the girl. Get her number and repeat with her outside the club as a reward.

The typical Medellin girl that finds her way on a foreigner's Facebook friend list is working, selling sexual services, content, or both and most if not all that you felt like you got "for free" felt cheated after the fact but didn't have the courage to ask for her money. That's assuming you aren't blowing smoke which is common enough here.

P.S. Also a lot of these girls are part of organized businesses and have handlers.

This is one difference from prepago. When you set the date to have the girl come over for sex, did the girl ask for money?

I've always thought it's best to ask them how much for their time, or if they'd like a gift, to get an understanding of expectations. I had a couple situations years ago where things were not agreed to before and the girl expected outrageous amounts. Making a scene, one even called the cops (was the DR).

Some will say not to negotiate and see what you can get for free, but I don't agree with this tactic either. The truth is that you will get some free sex, but it's not because the girl is in love, it's more likely that she's just new to the game and afraid of the confrontation with a 250 lb dude. I've seen guys leave a live in girlfriend of a week high and dry (ie didn't pay a dime) and fly out. It just doesn't seem right to me.

Has anyone attended flower parade in St Elena recently? Would you say it is worth visiting it for someone who does not speak Spanish? And what is best mode for going to the city to watch the parade. Take taxi or?

Idk if I write a report a month ago but I went to gustos and la isla. 550 k for girl at la isla. All rooms are the same price now. That's almost 150 usd. Before like the end of 2022 it was 350 k for 30 minutes. That's under 100 usd.

Went to gustos. Surprisingly I saw a girl I met at lleras in the middle of 2022. She cost 250 k back then. Now I saw her at gustos and she was charging me in dollars. She said 200 usd. I'm like what? You're the same person your not even a 7. She's lije 150 usd because she knows me. I'm like bah you can leave my apartment bye. I asked how much she would charge me if I call her tomorrow. 150 usd. I'm like I'm not paying premium prices for truly not that great of a girl.

She told me that is what everyone us charging and what gringos are accepting. Whatever.

Also gusto has a lot more gurls than men like 7 to 1.

Are gusto 150 usd prices justified now that the best establishment in Medellin la isla is charging basically 150 usd? What do you guys think? I wouldn't pay more than 400 k cop for even the best girl.

You know what I think happened at la isla? The cop got to basically 5 k at one point so la isla wanted 100 usd and just converted. Now that the price is high and gringos are taking it they won't lower it. Also the priced out middle class Colombians so who knows if this was truly good for business.

I went by there at the beginning of last month on a Sunday, and it was closed. The next Sunday, it was open and the owner was out front where he normally is. I think I'm successful finding normal girls for several reasons. I speak Spanish fluently and try to know as much as I can about the city and the culture in Medellin. I make an effort to target girls who have full-time jobs, live in decent neighborhoods, and don't have kids as well. I talk to girls extensively before I meet them (this tends to screen out most of the grillas and trafficked girls you mentioned). I also ask girls out for a coffee or lunch / dinner to get a better read on them vs. Right to my apartment. Have I met some semipros that way? Yes. Most semipros I meet end up being a great experience and I'm more than happy to give a regalito to them after sex. My point from before is that if you get a girl who tells you "the me lo que quieres" (give me what you want) or "the me un regalito" (give me a gift) when they are about to leave, just give them 200 or 250 k. I've never had someone get pissed at me when I've done that. At the same time, I've met and slept with many nonpros as well, including the girl I was just living with for three weeks.

Do I recommend other's do what I do? Not necessarily especially if you don't speak Spanish or have a poor sense of social awareness. But it's worked well for me so far. At the same time, I'm under no illusions that most nonpros are looking for something as well. This may be a visa, financial help down the line (I. E. Postpago), or someone to take them out and show them a good time. Those are things that come out with time. I'm more than happy to accommodate option number three. Anyway, not all Colombianas are prepagos and there is a healthy dating market out there as well of girls who are interested in getting to know and date foreigners. I think many other members as well as several of my friends who frequent Medellin can attest to the fact that there are lots of nonpro options out there for those who know how to look for them.

I remember the prices being around 350-400 K for 40 minutes. That was expected for a high-end club. I didn't partake because I was seeing women during the days for cheaper and longer. Then I saw a post last month that said it was now 550 K (like you said). Considering there's a 50 K cover charge and you have to buy drinks, you're looking at 650 K+ total for 40 minutes. No fucking way. You could find gorgeous women elsewhere for a fraction of that price. The idiots you see throwing around bills are the ones driving up prices and happily getting ripped off for a woman who probably finished fucking another guy 30 minutes before they showed up.

Gustos has always been a rip-off. My entire group got quoted $300 USD from different women. I just drank and hung out.
