TIA and stay safe.[/QUOTE]I think renting and living in Laureles or Estadio gives much better value, compared to Parque lleras and El Poblado, even if some say it's lower quality, it's really not. I would say prices are lower since the market is for colombian middle class. And with currently low exchange rate for the peso at 4000 to the dollar (,even if it was up almost to 5000, that could not last), it's a good time to go. At La 70, Avenida 70, you have La UPB, which have good Spanish courses, or at Estadio, close to Exito Colombia and the Giradot Estadio, there are Bodytech which resides also at "el cafetero" near Andreas Escobar Sports Park (who was killed 94 after he made a self-goal at the USA soccer WC) , if you go to Bodytech or another top-class gym there will be many more hot chics than you ever see at any club!

Use Mileroticos and look for Laureles, the girls there charge less than El Poblado girls, but it's the same thing!

Connect with local guys, in private they give you some very good advice, where to go, where few gringos ever go!

You need basic Spanish, that will do!

IMHO they expect local guys, they are not really prepared to overprice you with a gringo-premium like the girls at the top-class clubs, El Poblado or Parque Lleras.

If you meet some colombian guys they can recommend you even more economical, and more authentic places. In there company you will be safe, you will just use common sense and everything will be just fine! If they are descent people with descent professions, they are very unlikely to do you any harm.

1st world People spend to much money just to avoid just a little bit of normality, and that is just not worth the price.

As I've spent more time here I've come to learn that to get women you have to have money at the end of the day. Like. Getting a girl friend is just prostitution with extra steps. Like she has to like how you look, and she has to trust that you can provide and protect and you have to act all dominant, and at the end of the day you have to pay for her shit. You're still paying for all her shit and you have to do all that other stuff. But what's crazy is that with having a girlfriend she decides whether she'll have sex with you. I will say though, that finding a girlfriend that actually gives you sex, is feminine and is submissive is way easier here in Colombia than it is in the us. It's kinda crazy. I'm an engineer. Here I make a doctors salary basically I'm in the 1% and almost everyone here is low income class so girls are just drawn to me. My looks are average. But in the us. I'm in the top 10%. Girls won't even look at me. Not the 7+ in looks at least. Truly everything revolves around money. Girls that look good in the us know that they can get someone in the top 1% so they don't care about anything else.

Something else that makes finding a really hot girlfriend difficult is that now any 7+ can be scooped up and flown out because of social media. So even finding one is difficult but if you do find one, she probs won't talk to you because she knows she can get men in the top 1% world wide.

Finding girlfriends even in Medellin is getting more difficult by the day especially if she's hot.

So what's the course of action? Get rich and acquire status. That's solves every material problem. Want a hot girl? No problem you can pay 1 k 2 k an hour. Want a 7 GF? No problem you can pay 100 k a year for her lifestyle. If that's not the play, I guess you're going to la isla and gustos getting their WhatsApp and praying to god they accept 400 k or less for an hour or be happy with the 4-5 you found in centro.

Either way, inflation is real and money solves everything.

I am older, late 50's, average looks. When a young attractive girl, 18-20, is chatting with me and interested in meeting with me, it is common sense to think that she is interested in trying to make money with me. Now, it is possible when I talk to older women late 20's, early 30's and up, that there might be a woman that is interested in regular dating but that would be the exception and not the rule. I think how you are treated has a lot to do with your own confidence and attitude. I spent a couple days with my cousin, who is in his 50's before I left Medellin. He was spreading money around left and right to everyone from hotel reception to street people. I introduced him to a friend of mine who helps me out when I'm in town and he bought her a $700 phone on the first day. Now he's got enough money that all of this is next to meaningless for him. But at the same time, he complains about how he is always the sugar daddy and how he wants a girl to like him for him. My guess is he leads with money due to a lack of confidence on other fronts.

Personally, I'll happily take girls out and spend money on them as long as I'm doing stuff I would have wanted to do anyway or something she suggests that genuinely interests me. There are also women who spend heavily on men. I've experienced getting taken out, gifted cologne, and even a phone by a woman interested in me. That is harder to find in Colombia for the simple fact that even most working women with what you'd think are decent jobs are probably barely getting by financially.

Gives us the opportunity to find younger, good looking women that are affordable. With the onset of youtube, instagram, etc, guys that wouldn't usually even think of going abroad for women (young, good looking, wealthy), are now flooding Bogota and Medellin. Three years ago, during the pandemic, I flew to Bogota on a basically empty plane. Hooked up with a 9, a model out of work at the time. Saw her a few times since then, but now it's coming to an end. A guy her age, early twenties, very well off and good looking, from North America, texted her on IG. Since then they are going all over Europe, Colombia, first class tickets, best hotels, all the trimmings. She also hooks up his wealthy young buddies with other models.

As you say, the days of well priced 7's and over are now ending. This does not really affect the Centro type girls, the rising prices due to demand are not as significant there. It's probably time to start looking at other places if one wants 7's, or, pony up the cash.

You're talking about girls at Plaza de Reloj, but your Cartagena post said you were going for a bachelor party?

Here are some tips:

1. Work on your memory. If you can't remember you've been on ISG before, how will you remember any of the advice given?

2. Don't make useless promises. About 99% of people who promise 100% to write a review, never write a review. However they often return years later with the same questions, making the same promises.

3. Use the search function. If you're interested in Mileroticos, search for posts mentioning Mileroticos.

4. Don't make decisions without first gathering sufficient information. A few blocks west of Parque Lleras may not be the best area to stay and Poblado may not be the place to be. Those are individual determinations and aren't things you should just accept at face value.

5. Don't expect anything about 1 place to be like another place. If you're looking for street action like you found in Cartagena, go to Cartagena.

6. Read the forum. Start by going back and reading until you can't stand to read anymore. Then keep reading. Ask yourself questions, then search for answers. If you point to a restaurant and ask if they serve hamburgers, and you just order a hamburger, you missed almost everything that's on the menu. At this point you have no idea what's on the menu in Medellin.

Part of the route, when I saw it, ran along Avenida las Vegas just south of the Aguacatela station. I also caught a bicycle parade near Estadio in Laureles.
