Dubai Reports

Right guys, here goes my first report. After a week of business in delhi with no mongering at all, you can imagine what I was like going to dxb.

I got in around 2. 30pm and checked in for "two" at the Four Points Sheraton. Room was great with a nice king bed and a very comfy couch (I highly recommend this hotel not only for costs, but its seconds away from all the action, york, panorama etc.) I decided to call one of the roselady's to avoid going out to monger as its been quite some time since I have been to dxb. By law, you are required to have identity documents on you at all times. Photocopy should be sufficient - passport face page and the visa page couldn't hurt.

Granted, you probably will never need; "need", following thoughts of some posts below, is racial. i.e, white - you'll never need - myself, 6 years in dxb, not once. But those of other colors, can be more likely, racial profiling by LE politically correct. Certainly easier to be able to pull out a couple sheets of paper than have to take an "escorted" trip back to the hotel, though, in that case, you certainly would be providing the staff some evening's entertainment.

Sorry to hear you had what sounds like an awful experience.
Goes to show that sometimes if it seems to good to be true.. it probably is.
