Some gangs settled their score in Lima this morning. The Colombian citizen Sergio Luis Alvarez Acosta was riding his bicycle when he was shot in the back of his head by another cyclist. The killer escaped in a red car that was waiting for him after abandoning the weapon at the crime scene. The victim died a few minutes later in the Good Hope clinique of Miraflores. Lima, Peru. 22/02/2010.

I saw this on the news last night and know a lot of guys who rent apartments on that block. They showed pictures of a 35-45 ish naked guy (in good shape) lying face up by the dining room table.

In relation to getting laid in MDE, obviously there are more than a few kinds of women to interact with.
There are many that have it in their mind that they don't want to do it but believe she has no other choice and no amount of money or charm is going to make her like you. Luckily, they are fairly easy to identify but perhaps less easy to walk away from. You just have to do it. IMO personality is the most important feature in any person. Hygene a close second. Haha. No, seriously!
In contrast, I have found that a large population, although not engaged in their ideal profession, want you to have a good time and understand what to do to make that happen. After all, it's really not that difficult to figure out. With these "types," give them a little polite conversation, a playful "prove it to me" attitude and the chemistry has a knack of kicking in big time! If you just exchange #'s without actually interacting, they already know they got you and lose their motivation. Besides! Why would you do that with sooooo many options? You may be a monger but is looking like one at all to your advantage? C'mon guys learn a few extra Spanish verbs and be amazed at how much you can make these girls laugh and how much more fun it is.
I have found this to be true of the MM girls as well as in clubs and Mayorista. Speaking of which, is Mayorista a unique spot in MDE? I thought the sit down, casual atmosphere was fantastic. I heard rumor of someplace similar with lots of bars and clubs in Sabaneta but never ventured out that way. Anybody have info on that?

But both kind of accepted that many of their friends played that game. Pro or nonpro these paisas know why we come to Medellin.
Incidentally the second one is desperate for love and a father for her little boy and has now convinced herself that the Italian guy who is coming to visit her soon is her serious boyfriend. Last visit one night I got pulled over by 2 cops on a motorcycle. All 4 of us had to get out of the car, show our I'd and answer questions. They call this a safety check since they had no visible reason to pull us over. Then across the intersection. BAM! SUV hits Hyundai. Or should I say "runs over Hyundai." Police interview over and we were on our way. Just more affirmation that the streets are crazy. I liked having a driver with an SUV last time. To walk or taxi is often a tough debate. P. S. I'm trying to PM Palermo. According to the instructions in FAQs I should be able to but I don't have the option to do so. I'll be in MDE this Monday staying in Pargue Lleras.

Interesting to hear because in the four blocks that I walk home every time I go to Lleras at night I've never seen anything like that. I saw three knife fights in Centro but only one person actually got stabbed. Went back to Sabeneta yesterday and was surprised that they were having a packed service for the boy who was run over the day before. Word travels fast because everyone I talked to knew about it.
