I spotted a booth in SM Mall front of Hyper Market that provides taxi services. A taxi taxi from AC center to Clark is 300PHP *only*

I have understood I am not allowed to put phone number or email in forum but I have their their business card so PM me if you are interested. Google search warned about their web page potentally being harmful so I did not want to risk open it myself. Taxi service is real and working for promised price. I used it to get from Perimeter to Clark.

Anneelke, Thanks for the update good summary and shows that this action will have a negative affect on the businesses. Should fields be shut down there is no reason to travel to this area, hotels and other business will suffer. What is sad is that all of the media information written is to sell papers, books and stories and is not true. Lets plan that things will quite down and life will go on generally not the same things rarely ever return to were they were.

So far AC bars have gotten away with everything. They never had bodypainting 10 years ago. At that time only few bars had shows but none can be termed naked or half naked. In the wake of LA cafe closing and all associated news coverage , suddenly all elected officials want to come across as moral crusaders. Soon it will be fully clothed dancers, the same as waitresses.
Every now and then they raid a bar here and there to show who is the Boss.
Those were of no consequence. What I heard now is they are checking to see who owns what and is it legal. Along with that they will check tax records, deed records etc causing many bars to close down. This will be bad for mongers because only stiff competition will hold down the prices.
How serious is these procedures will depend on whose hand is greased and how much. I hope being a corrupt political system in PHI this blows over or it is death knell for AC.

I was in this bar about two months ago at about 9:00 or 10:00. Two girls come out, TOPLESS, and start squirting whipped cream at each other. At the time I thought that the bar was taking a big risk as it was well known that this type of action was not allowed on Fields, on anywhere else in the Philippines. Bars in Manila get shut down all the time for these types of "bold shows", as they are known in the Philippines. Of course, it goes on everwhere, but Fields is a little high profile for this. I go into AC bars on a regular basis, and from my experiance, Pony tails did have the boldest shows in town. Now, you have to wonder, what kind of retarded manager would want to have boldest shows in AC. If the authorities want to close down a bar to make a point, his bar will be at the top of the list. Pushing the envelope this way can also ruin it for everyone, because it is not the corrupt polititions that threaten AC, it is the moralistic ones. Make no mistake, a corrupt mayor of AC is FAR better then an honest one, like Mayor Lim of Manila.

Morals in the Philippines as it relates to bars is quite strange by western standards. You can fill the place with girls that you take home and fuck for $30, but they cannot take off their tops in the bar. Quite the opposite to the bars where I come from, where they are welcome to take off ALL their clothes, but will be closed down with smallest rumor of prositition taking place. Personnaly, I'll take the Philippines attitude any day. And while I enjoy a good sex show as much as the next guy, I lose interest in barfining any girl I see topless in a bar. They come accross to me as prostitutes, and I generally prefer the "nicer" girls in AC to take home (but I certainly understand that many will think differently to me on this).

So hopefully the manager of pony tails escaped the raid has left town and will not come back. Anyone who doesn't understand the basic rules of this town has no business running a bar here.

All is ok in AC.... Just some political propaganda and the U.S coming to town. The people in charge will not destroy their cashcow. Maybe Poneytails took a chance to push the envelope because they can and have the money. If the management was so bad they would of went after the other bars they own as well.

I don't know the stats, but with roughly 10 new bars opening in a year, that states a point. It's still progressing. I was out last night and maybe I seen some titties in the bar... So their not scared. Still short time to be had in the bars. When that goes away, then we should worry.

Soon as I get rid of this redhorse hangover I'm going to go out again tonight and see how many titties I can see in a night!!!!!!

Same here. The girls I usually BF wear shorts or dress (in the case of Agasya/Atlantis).

Funny post but very good eye opener for the guys going to Fields bars looking for love. I'm fine with them dating Filipinos as long as I don't get sloppy seconds, lol.

u. s. coming to phils.. someone said obama was scheduled to come to the phils in sept for a visit. i tried to look up his schedule and couldn't find it.. i do remember him canceling a trip to asia when the oil spill was going on.. but i thought it was indonesia and another place, not the phils. my thought is why would he come to angles anyway.. i know they have a airbase that can land his plane but so does the airport in manila.. besides the govt is in manila, not angles . i also don't think he would be out traveling the country side and going to angles.

i know these moral asses in the u. s. will get there nose into things they have no business getting into, so it is a strong possibility they pulled some influence with a person in congress who is part of the religious right. he or she raised a little hell to get some publicity. just a guess though.

let me say that forced prostition, especially with **** girls, should be prosecuted. but lets get some evidence first and then not attack everybody. but it seems that is to much to ask in some places.

I'm a longtimer in Cambodia and visited many times there. About 3 years ago, this was also how it started there. First the "rules" then followed by the raids and now Phnom Penh is just a shadow of it's glorious old self. Most of the brothels are closed, all the BJ bars are closed, many of the western bars with ladies are almost fully clothes. If some of you make it there, you will see bar tables with round holes in them-- that was where the dancer poles use to be. So, all it takes is for one ******* to start something and before you know it, the end is near.--sorry for the sad reality but it's the truth.
