Reading a lot of comments on this site I am glad that I experienced Phnom Penh in the "old days" girls were not money grabbing and drugs were not a problem. I was in town (I live in SR) and was staying at Teahouse on 242. A block away is Massa, on 252. It's really nondescript on the outside, but there is a faded awning. Go up the stairs and there will be a door with "Massage" in big letters on it. They have a fishbowl of women to choose from, with numbers. I see the occasional SW along the riverside. But there aren't that many, and it's hard to tell sometimes due to the crowds that hang out there.

- Park just west of the Palace (might be called Hun Sen or Freedom Park?):

There use to be SWs there during the night. I haven't checked recently. Are they still there?

- On the street that intersects Monivong across the Asia Palace Hotel:

Several years ago, if you went on the street across the Asia Palace Hotel, and after passing local eating establishments on the sidewalk, you observed SWs hanging out. Are they still there?

- Japanese Bridge (also known as Friendship Bridge):

A few people have written about it, but I have never seen them. Those people never give any details.

There is only 1 bridge on the Phnom Penh riverside. Easy to see!

As you go north along the riverside, you should pass the local massage parlors with very ugly girls (are they still there?). You are fairly close to Wat Phnom. Then a little more drive north, you will hit the Japanese bridge. I have never explored that area. Are the SWs before, after, or near the bridge? Is this info legit?

Street walkers, specially around the bridge are high on meth, ice whatever shit they use. I remember driving a tuktuk with a bar girl in 2011 that area. She was pointing out few girls that were working in her bar or others nearby before. They got kicked out after got infected with HIV. So poor girl made a mistake of telling one of her friends and end of the story for her.

My interest has always been those girls who are looking for their first big hit ( foreign boyfriend). When bar girls had one or few BF's, they're settling fast into a new living standards. For example 5 bucks for her phone will be meaningless. New girls always appreciate even small things and you can make them really happy with minimal expat / travelers budget.

Just back from another 3 weeks mostly in Phnom Penh in May. Given my circumstances of being with the wife, I write this report with the perspective of a keen monger with opportunity to play and explore mainly during the day, a few forays out to the bars at night with male mates on a handful of occasions.

As always, had a fun time, and went down the path of variety. Firstly, dodgy cheap massage places on Street 63, there are a good handful of places between Street 174 right up to Street 228. First place I walked in to I asked how much for massage, was quoted $5. Massage lady was probably late 30's and plain, so I thought I'll go the massage and tug option. Enter the small room and just get all my gear off, she motions for me to put my boxer shorts back on, and I ask her is hand relief offered, to which she replies $25! I laugh and go to get dressed and leave, at which point she quickly tells me the price is $10. So I hang around for and average massage and a mechanical wank-nothing spectacular at all but hey, its $10 in total. Next day I tried another place within the same vicinity, this place has a "Hot Toc" sign out front, hair cuts happening in front with massage rooms towards the back. Again I ask about massage and am quoted $5 - led to room with a younger girl, perhaps mid 20's, I ask her for massage nyum nyum. She quotes $20 all up and I'm happy with the price and away we go. Average massage, decent, well skilled BBBJ. These places are worth checking out for a quick blow and go.

Bar wise, spent a bit of time again on Street 172 as it is close to the hotel that I stay at. Best selection of girls probably Vampire Bar however I didn't barfine any girls from here. One place intrigued me, I think it is called Danny K Bar and Spa. There are a couple of girls that are damn hot, the place apparently does massage and is a bar. When I asked about the massage the girls were a bit coy and vague so I wasn't able to sample any of the girls. Would be interested to know exactly what is on offer here on premises, joked with the girls about boom boom massage and they coyly indicated not available, and again, I'm unsure if they were saying not available on premises or not available at all. Checked out a number of bars from St 172 through to Street 108. Some of the Street 136 bars were pretty dead with a boring atmosphere, girl selection below par. Best couple of bars that I would recommend at the moment would be Double D street 110, good selection of friendly and hot girls. Took one by the name of Klaa I think she called herself (Klaa is Tiger in Khmer! - sweet girl, tight body. Another bar which has been around for ten years, doesn't appear to be discussed here to often given its out of the way location is Golden Vine on Street 108 (just a left turn from walking from Street 51). Viet owned / managed with a large selection friendly bar girls, on the night I was there I reckon there was upwards of 30 girls in the bar so I'm guessing most punters should find something to their tastes. The other good thing is that there is a good split of Khmer and Viet girls, depending on your tastes both are available in good numbers.

The other means I found fruitful this trip was WeChat freelance girls. Hooked up with a couple during the afternoon. Price wise they will start off high but offer similar numbers that you would for ST in a bar (depending on your negotiation skills I would say $30 to $40 max. Depending on the hotness of the girl! One girl I met at the Smile mini mart crn street 13 and 136, off on the back of her bike we went to a close by guest house and fun fun times were had by me. I know historically this forum has made mention of both the lack of willingness and skill in Khmer girls to provide a decent BJ. Well let me tell you, this girl who I picked up, uses the WeChat name Lina, 26 years old, good figure with some fine curves, provided the most enthusiastic and skilled BBBJ I have had in Cambodia. And was happy to let me know between tongue and mouth work that she would love me to cum in her mouth. As much as I tried to hold back I let her have it and she happily accepted a nice big load. Golden Sorya Mall seems to become sleazier and less appealing every time I come back for a visit, and I base my opinion not on the girls available, and with the closure of Walkabout this is no doubt now the hot spot for all the freelancer of Street 51, but more on the old crusty looking western men that sit around and really put on a freak show more entertaining than the ice riddled freelancers! Definitely not my scene, but each to their own, one man's junk is another's treasure.

I stayed that the De Art hotel, Street 106, in the middle of the action between 104 and 136. I paid $30 per night on Agoda. I can confirm this is a girl friendly hotel.

As usual we did a number of bars, I always end up forgetting most of the names, as they all look the same to me, and there are just so many. The first night I ended up in the Honey Pot as the last bar of the evening and took a girl out that I had met last time I was in PP. As it was 2 pm and the bar was closing, there was no bar fine. I had yet again a wonderful time and GFE was 10/10. We managed 1 shot in the evening and another 2 shots the next day. The BBBJ was absolutely excellent, but she was not keen to do CIM. (which is fine for me as I like a BBBJ as a kick start anyway) Looks wise I would say she is a 7, 27 years old, but the effort that she puts in is fantastic. I paid $70 the next day and she left happy at 2 pm.

I have a basic price structure I stick with most of the time. ST 1 shot $35, LT 2 shots $50, $15-$20 extra for every shot after that. I almost never discuss money upfront, and put the cash into their bag when they leave. Never had a problem with that and almost all girls are friendly when they see me again. I also believe that if the girl thinks it is necessary to confirm the price, then a GFE is probably not going to happen, so I just leave it.
