Yeah, a lot of truth to this as I heard this before from some of the girls I picked up while in Cebu. Although I do agree as some have said they will go with anyone Asian or White or Black, all it takes is to have the money. But some girls have told me they prefer whites if it was for the long term relation (aside from their own race of course to a successful Filipino man,). What the girls told me was quite simple.
The 2 main reasons are:
1) the language (english) is spoken in the US and
2) the Westerner (white) culture is very forgiving when relationships are with a pinoy and bringing one back to the US is no big deal. The same may not be true for a Japanese or Korean. One girl had a short relation with a Japanese man and went back to japan and both she and the man were frowned upon and treated as outcast by family. Remember, some asian places look at pinoys as either housemaids/ servants and not as someone of status to married to their boys. That's why many Korean or Jap or HK men visit their "loved ones" only in the girls own country and never take her to his country. American men won't think twice about that if he had foolishly fallen for a pinoy. Bottom line, the Jap man had to let her go after 3months..just from experiences and stories told to me by a few pinoys..cheers

FYI:
The adult/sex shop on Fields Ave., across from Dollhouse and Atlantis, sold both real and fake viagra when I was there last year. I'm sure it's more expensive than it should be, but they had it. I think the fake viagra was called "Suhagra", from India. 400 pesos, for 4 pills (100mg) and they worked well.

I desperately hope the same thing doesn't happen in AC and I wouldn't begin to compare the Philippines with Cambodia because the mentaillity of your average Khmer and Filipino are so different, but it only takes a moralising president (and his wife) under the cosh from donor nations with a moralising agenda for the rot to set in, gather pace and become irreversible.

The Philippines would not be able to sustain itself. P4P is a big industry and the major clients are locals.

Don't think for a second that it's just the right. The left views it as their feminist duty to put an end to what they view as exploitation. Go visit any feminist website, if you dare, and search their archives for what they think about sex tourism.
I don't know anything about their personal views, but I'd put money on myself being closer to John Boehner's stance on tourism than Nancy Pelosi's. Nonetheless, I vote Libertarian to be on the safe side.

Very true...Now we know why the King of Thailand is on our side :).. in spite of all his negatives, one thing he has not excepted is taking orders from western moral crusaders.

There are many generic Indian Viagra available like kamagra, Penegra etc.
In Phnom Penh it is the cheapest. $1 will get you 4 pills of 100Mg if you bargain. Normal asking price is $2.
I have bought loads of them when I visit there. It worked fine. I guess it is easy to import there than Phi.
