He is a friend of mine who bought my old place, Loco Gringo Cafe, and the website. 301 is a 2 bedroom that Juan has on the ocean, great view. It is a 5 minutewalk to La Dolce. 10 to Hollywood Beach. The one I have is not on the ocean, faces th Laguito and a little closer to the La dolce. Mine is $100 a night for 1 person. Both have wifi, mine a washer / dryer combo. My lease is up on May 15 so just trying to get something before it is over. My email is in the Cartagena apt forum.

A few images from my recent trip.

So I head to the beach and I find the Paisa from last night. All is good. She has a friend with her. She's ok nothing to write home about though. So we head to the beach and the deal is this. I get the cabana but they can use it to chill so I don't lose it when I leave to the apt every now and then. The apt was really close by. So we are all hanging out and drinking and ordering mangos etc. I take a stroll and a lot of good looking girls are there. Made a few connections. I head back to the cabana and hang out with the Paisa girl. I decide to take her with me to Islas del Rosario. So we make a deal. I take her the rest of the day, plus all night, plus the rest of the next day at Islas del Rosario until 7pm. Sealed the deal at 350k. I thought it was ok but realized probably a little high since she took the offer right away. That was pretty much day 3 and 4. Which was nice for me since I had her avail anytime I wanted until the next day at 7pm. The next day and a half was pretty awesome. She finally heads home the next evening. And I venture out again. I take a 2 min walk and a group of chicas get off the bus. I find a light skin blk girl from one of the barrios. 19 years old. We head upstairs for 2 hours at 80k. Very nice no complaints. So its still kinda early so I head out again checked out Tu Candela. Nothing special there. As I head home I find the light skin girl with a friend. 19 years old also. I take the friend upstairs for 50k. And call it a night.

Fun, but the girls are generally much more professional than you can find about in Medellin and all the constant peddlers gets old, no matter how good you are at ignoring.

I was like forget this! I have only been to CTG 2x. Hoping to make it out there 1x time this year. But I am really wanting to go to MDE also. I hear a lot of good stories. What is the avg. Cost for 1 hour In your opinion in MDE? 175k pesos? The reason I like Ctg is bc of the safety factor also. Does Medellin Plaza offer airport pick up?

Medellin for an hour depends.

Depends on where you are looking for the fun.

At the Plaza, between 100K. 200K pesos, depending on the girl and you.

At casas, much cheaper, at strip clubs, depends on which ones, the high end or low, but more or less between 50k to 200k.

I know the touts can be annoying, but here's a trick I discovered. Lowball them. If something costs 60k, offer him 10k. Most of the time they will get the hint. If not, and they accept your offer, you just got yourself a great deal!

Thanks Ricker. Those numbers def sound favorable. I think my next trip will be to MDE! Anyone with more be greatly appreciated. Of course I have read the forum.

If anyone has stayed there before, it's one of Juan's nicer / new apartment. The elevators are a death trap! I was last there in February. The elevators won't stop at my floor. Sometimes go above my floor. One time in the middle! All my girls were afraid of it. About 9 days ago, some 18 year old kid. Busy texting. Walked into an empty elevator shaft from the 6th floor and fell to his death. My amiga showed me an article online.

Made it to Cartagena after a stop in Panama. Veneto was good. Lots of chicas. Had way to much to drink but did hook up with a fine chica. Prices have come down since my last visit. Girls were asking 100. The last time were asking 200. Headed to LDV tonight. Will let why'all know what I think.

Looking for a wingman.

I have mongered in Cartagena in 2001 and returning there after a hiatus of 13 years. A wingman will be usefull.

I got stopped in the street by some guy trying to sell me the yellow, Adidas Colombia soccer jersey. He said very cheap for me. Only $30. I always wanted one of those, so I half joked. No. Too expensive. 30 mill pesos. He said "no commission for me." I was ready to leave and he quickly agreed. I should have offered him 20 mill!

You should have just gave him 20 mil, spat on the ground and told him rice is delicious by itself!
