What's the strategy here?[/QUOTE]It's not static. Within Plaza Botero is less safe when it is more or less deserted after the police is gone. People still go to the strip clubs. It is safer on the side of the strip club, then on the opposite side of the road. Taking metro to leave may be safer compared to waiting for Uber outside. It's better to wait inside but you will eventually go outside and may need to use your phone to locate the waiting Uber. That has risk vs just walk straight to metro. There are vendors that only come out at night which means people go there at night. You basically have to be familiar with the area so you don't get lost in the areas that are much less safe. There are other problems like anyone can come up to you to ask you for something. Are you going to give him / her anything?

Arrived in Medellíand after 4 nights in Panama. Part of my bday week and figured since all the girls in Panama were from Medellin, why not.

Lodging: Stayed at the Haven Hotel of Calle 10 A, about 3 blocks from Lleras. Very nice place, great rooftop bar and food. We booked the 2 br suite where each room has a jacuzzi. All in, about $125 per person per night. Website says one free visitor per day and 100 k fee after that. Had no issue getting our visitors for free in and never got a chance to test the fee for second in same day. Great staff.

Transportation. Airport was 98 k in, 120 k out (4 am) about $20 and $30 respectively.

Tour. Did Guatape and El Peñol with Andes Adventures. Highly recommend.

Night 1: Lleras. Man that place is insane. After getting hounded by 58 promoters, and seeing nothing but what looked like bottom of the barrel, we grabbed some seats and a table outside just down from Gusto. We chilled there for about 2 hrs and some better options started rolling in around 10/11 pm. Talked to a few but we not impressed with the quality vs asking prices. And tbh, quite a noticeable number looked straight up underage. We passed as we'the just had some that morning in Panama and had other options for night 2.

Night 2. Ordered in. So, as we were flying down the day before, we cast the usual wide nets, this time a mix of PP and ME. By midday we'the settled on a nice late 20's 8 or so from PP and she'the sent a picture of her cousin who was nice looking too. Rate was 300 k - $80 / HR. We both wanted to hang with them, have some jacuzzi time etc so we negotiated for 1 M for the evening, which ended up being about 4 hrs. They were awesome. Super friendly, relaxed, we ordered room service and then bucket naked fun. BBBJ and she grabbed my hands and told me to grab her head. Man. Then session began mish, CG, a quatro, told me to slap that booty. Damn. After about an hour, and three body trembling orgasms on her part (I don't enjoy this shit unless they come, and I will do whatever it takes LOL mostly) I let mine rip. Whew. I'm going back will see her again.

We had w other alternatives. I had one who quoted me 1. 2 M for amanecida or 170 k per hour and the one that got away was a nice college girl at 220 k who spoke amazing English that I will definitely see next trip. We chatted for like 3 weeks before the trip but shit just fell thru. Aside from that, I'm building my Rolodex with the ones I met in Panama who will be back home soon.

All this to say there's really good options online if you do the verifications and are nice. Maybe I'll try Lleras next time but man they really looked skanky last week.

On to Aruba.

She grabbed his shirt hard so he could not get away. She got her BIG girl friend to come help her. The BIG girl stood beside him but did not help because there were 5 people right their and in the bright light. If the 5 people were not there I am sure the BIG girl would have helped.

Last week a foreigner who should know better got pick-pocketed around 8:00 pm near the church. Two girls were hugging and loving up on him and his ego went into high gear and his brain dropped into reverse. He figured it out and grabbed her and forced her to sit on the bench as he checked his pockets. He let her go and the two girls ran away into the night with 70,000 mil / $18 USD. I laughed at him because he was an idiot. He told me he was leaving in the morning and I laughed harder. Too damn funny that his last memory was going to be that.

YOU do not belong in Centro after 8:30. Truth be told I am starting to feel like I do not belong here either at any time. May be my last trip or at least my second to last trip. The girls just are not enough reason to be here. Other areas of Medellin are not much better or the other cities I have been to.

Correction. Last night I believe the guy probably received a bloody hand when thrown to the pavement. Then transfered the blood near his collar bone when he took off his backpack when speaking to the police. Based on the blood pattern on his shirt. Drama running amuck temporarily in my head.

You can compare SF to street sweeties of El Centro, but not to the most high end strip club in Medellin. Sure, La Isla got some bad apples, but overall quality is far superior. And since the rates are fixed, even though pricey, you can choose any girls you want for the same price. SF and El Centro are great only for someone on a limited budget, with low standards (can fuck pretty much anyone). My first 9/10 I did fuck at La Isla, when I first got to Medellin about 8 yrs ago. The girl was a fitness model with 6-pack abs. Cost me around $100 back then. You can't find a fitness model in a dump place like SF or El Centro.

More people out tonight so stayed till 10:00 pm again. My sleep pattern is all screwed up.

The thief girl asks me for money and not in a friendly way. I never give anything and she moved on.

9:30 pm police van and motorcycle pull up at the church / Mor Dis because / pharmacy corner. They walk down the pathway towards bar street. One guy has the child arm patch and they are checking IDs for underage girls. None were there and the guys were sitting together chatting and the girls were sitting together chatting so the guys were not trying to pickup any of the girls. Police make their way down the alley. The big girl from the night before has been chatting with the gringos off and on earlier. After the police leave she tells one of the gringos that the police wanted one of the girls to pretend to be too young so they could make money off the gringos (extortion).

I speak no Spanish so no idea if this was said of not. Sadly, the other gringo who speaks Spanish was not smart enough to ask the other girls if they too were asked to do the same thing (lie about their age). I try to verify stories I hear and this was important to know. I learned before not to have him ask intelligent questions. It gets watered down and lost in translation.

You came at the wrong time there are some rainy periods but the last 6 months have been Great spring days during summer-- If you look on the Bogotá section you will se plenty of Happy reports -- not like here-- Good luck-.
