These are mostly fake. I have got one surprisingly the quality is good. I don't recall how much did I pay, likely 30K or 40K. The right way is to EDUCATE oneself on prices, quality of merchandise and where and when the transaction occurs. Then you can bargain respectfully and not loose face or being taken for a ride. Prices on Basurto market are lower but hey one has to get there. Same applies for pussynomics.

When the average Colombian makes 20-30k a day, these touts make some living suckering gullible tourists so I won't lose sleep over trying to get the best deal I can. I won't even argue over tipping 50% at a casa "just because" it's only $5!

I knew for sure I would be spending the majority of the time picking from the line up at LDV. I mean who could pass up a bar / club full of beautiful working girls. Right? But it went completely different for me. I would spend the day walking Sn Martin Ave in the morning maybe meet a girl here and there. Then head to the beach. Get about 5 contacts. Plus that strip there in El Laguito is full or girls up and down the street. By 11pm I was not as eager to pull one from LDV for 250k + for short time. Almost everytime I went to LDV I would pick up a few numbers or meet them At Electra / Paprika for half the price. In hindsight I should've kept more of a routine. Get a street chica in the AM, head to beach pick up 1 or 2 for daytime fun, nap, head to LDV pick a nice one for TLN or head to Paprika. Thats my gameplan for next time. I regret going to pleyclub, felt like a waste of $$ even though I did love the girl that I chose. Its just too much of a business transaction there. I don't mind paying for drinks it just feels like a complete rip off paying 10usd for a redbull or soda and beer prices are ridiculous. Tu Candela is a nice place to take a girl. And possibly pick another one up for a threesome. Never really paid attention to the girls outside the clocktower. The prices were good but you have to deal with girls that have no cedula or girls trying to snatch your stuff from your apt. The diffrence in price to me just wasn't worth it.

Bummer to hear this, if accurate, as I have been talking up this place to my friend about the advantages of going here later in evening and avoiding the expensive earlier take out at LDV. This will be my 3rd trip to CTG and don't recall any alternatives at this late hour. Any suggestions?

At this late hour, strip clubs might still be open but it won't be cheap. You might find them hanging around the normal clubs like Tu Candela but it is going to be difficult. You might be able to get LDV chicas cheaper and earlier because there is no real alternative.
