You sound like you are not hard up for cash for the $20 smelly skank or to waste time trying to find that diamond in the rough.

Note: many restuarants may not serve you if you walk in 10ish unless it is a Fri night in Parque LLeras. If you are talking Mickey D's or a hotdog on the street disregard this note.

Reaching the beach would require many hours in car or having to go back to the airport. Not feasible.

Bro, en pocas palabras your short time here and the fact that you are staying at CB1 with $1, 000-$1, 500 means you can do it right. Guys young at heart still love to pick up the non pros, the thrill of the chase, but it takes a little time more time here than other cities.

This is what I would do. Forget GF4A week, get on the phone with CB1 and let them know that you are looking for a few candidates to be your girlfriend TLN for a disco all nighter thurs or fri night, a girl with no kids or emergency "I have to go home because my child is sick". Describe your type.

Have the first candidate ready to meet you that first hour when you arrive so you can bust a nut and see if you have chemistry. Get a massage, you just flew in! Then have the second candidate ready to meet you shortly thereafter (another massage!). One of them will be your girl for clubbing, get their numbers, ask the first girl and get her to say yes (in case the second one sucks). Hopefully Marci has screened them and you are getting two candidates who are already willing to hang all night with you at the disco and then for a romp in the sack afterwards until dawn.

If you can get one of the CB1 guys to go with you to the disco you will have a foursome for the table. More fun.

On the off nights go to FASE II for some top end strip club action, girls there cost about $80 for an hour in the room, buy a bottle for the table and share shots with the broads. Note these girls need to work and can't really call out sick and hit Palmihias with you so they are not candidates for your disco night.

If the first two girls at CB1 are duds they can call you more. Also the girls in the casa if you go in the day time do not work at night and could be your disco girl. - but they start work in the AM in the casas so they may be reluctant to go nuts all night with you. Most of the CB1 girls are straight freelancers.

In the airport after you get your luggage and clear DAS find a way to go upstairs as if you were departing on a flight. I know it is a pain in the ass to do this with your luggage and of course you are travelling alone so there is no one else who can just watch your bags.

There are two or three ATMs where you can take out all the scratch you need if you must have pesos immediately.

Maybe throw Luna Lunera in there (another strip club) and a visit to the Mayorista just to see what it's about.

I actually found a couple 'keepers' there in my last week's stay.

They both were very pretty, had Cedulas, and spent the night with me at the CB2.

Very GFE and accepted whatever dinero I gave 'em, along with little gifts I brought along.

However, I am admittedly a Mayorista vet and am good at the "Mayo hunt" hahaha :)

I'll be going back to Tampa for March and April. Not the best time for newbies, but most of the time I have other veterans staying at My Place that will hold your hand and show you the ropes of La Mayorista and "casas". Worst case scenerio, somebody will be there to give you the keys and a short tour of the restaurants, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, laundry facilities, Metro and point to where the "cuties" hang out.

Last time I picked a cab in La Mayorista to visit El Museo de Castillo (1 mile from Poblado) , the driver dropped me off at a place not even close to Castillo. Since then I write a cab ID number in my memo whenever I ride taxi, and make sure that the driver sees me doing it. I hope it will prevent a potential fraud (it may not).

play ground, if you have some time left in medellin, do yourself a favor and book at least two nights at the casa blanca 1. tell the staff boyd or robert especially, what you are looking for and let them make some recommendations. also let boyd tell you where the best casa girls are currently working at. saves a lot of time and effort going it cold turkey. do yourself a favor and check it out!

cubanut[/quote]i have to agree with cubanut. prior to my first real trip to mde, i scrubbed this forum and (guide?) for the names of all the daytime casas, all the strip clubs, all the discos, all the malls, and all the best restaurants. armed with the addresses, i plotted them out on google maps and made a graphic that showed their locations, when they are open, what price to expect and the quantity of girls based on reviews. i did this over the course of only about 2 months. i stayed at a nice rental apartment based on research i did in that arena. i was prepared to use the subway system, having printed out routes and plotting the locations of the stations (but i ended up only using taxis). i visited 80% of the daytime casas (some didn't exist anymore or i couldn't find) , all but one of the major strip clubs and 1 disco over the course of 4-5 days. and, i went solo. so, when i asked to meet up with some guys to exchange info, i felt like part of the team, not a leech. you can get opinions from anyone (and some here, like cubanut, are worthwhile) , but, if you don't do your own homework, you'll never know what you're missing out on. one guy told me not to go to san diego because the girls sucked. i talked him and his crew into stopping by just to peek in for 10 minutes and i bought the first round-dude ended up loving the place and, i thought it had some pretty quality girls. bottom line: you have to do your homework in order to be able to ask intelligent questions, otherwise, those with the knowledge to help you will be reluctant to do so. the reason is because in order to understand how to maneuver a city, you should be familiar at least with what you are trying to get out of it. to do that, you just have to do what others have done. you learn this by reading the f-ing forum! that said, check out the maps of casas in medellin thread and go crazy! (disclaimer: my map is about 2 years old and may not be accurate anymore). happy mongering.
