What your post illustrates is that a foreigner who knows the market in Centro, and speaks a fair amount of Spanish, along with having some game, can get local pricing, as it seems like a lot of the gringos in Centro just can't seem to navigate the terrain there, and the smarter SW's take advantage of them and hence cannot get local pricing.

You stated that 9 times out of 10 the SW's accept your price, which makes perfect sense, as to why would a SW turn you away if you illustrate your knowledge of the market, as you are no different than their client base which I estimate to be at least 95% locals.

If you pull a girl out of Gustos and take her back to your rental and get her naked and then she starts trouble because you want to pay her afterward, that is something I wouldn't recommend. Centro uglies will stay in Centro, and will serve locals and get local rates.

There was a discussion recently about Centro girls working Centro during the day, and Lleras during the night. Those girls who work both locations, will probably stick to Lleras only and then transition to online, or higher end venues. Working both locations is not sustainable, because what's the point? If you, lets say, flip burgers during the day, and get paid X pesos, and do exact same work at night and get paid 10 X pesos, sooner or later you will start picking only night shifts.

A girl working El Centro is almost certain to get enough customers to make money, and with the metro and buses, transportation is cheap.

However, going to Lleras, there's a fair chance she won't get a customer every night, and by the time she finishes she'll need to get a taxi. Most of them have no cash reserve, so getting stuck in Lleras is a real risk.

For girls who think, save and plan, then a transition to Lleras is a possibility. For the majority, it's something they'll do occasionally, when they have friends with them and someone has enough money to get back home.

Late report from Labor day.

Back from MDE and spend 5 days in an Airbnb 2 streets over from Energy Living building. Meet with all my girls from Seeking. The most impact gringos have on pricing is the price they pay individually. You are quite right that there are not enough gringos, especially not in Centro, to move the market. There are micro markets that are gringo dominated (e. G. The Mansion / Gringo Inn, Parque Lleras) where gringos are in the majority. Those are exceptional situations. The going rate in Centro is 30,000 to 40,000. I have a select few regulars I bring home from time to time. I give them 50 K. I covered casas in an earlier post. Those prices are not gringo driven either for the same reason as the street rates are not. You can tip your way to higher prices or pay for an hour and get the same one pop you would get for the cost of half an hour but again, that's only going to affect the guy in the room not everybody else. Apologies for the boring post. I just stuck to the facts.

You don't need a Colombian cedula to register your phone. I registered several phones for years before I had my first cedula. You can do it from the phone itself on the Claro app or on the Claro web site. You have to set up an online account first by establishing a user ID and password.

I did not sex all 20 but they knew I was not a newbie and tell their friends. I have had 7 girls I had sex with in the 2+ months I have been here try to raise prices. But the top 20% of the girls will be taken away to Poblado, FB, websites, Western Union. The girls are learning but you are not. Street girls could never afford to get a boob job. Yet I know 3 recently. One in the last 2 years. One last month that went from nothing to something and the last one still had her bandages on when I did her 3 weeks ago. Guys lie just as much as the girls. The Russian guy brags that he gets the cheapest everything he buys. The guys I have heard brag the most about getting local prices are screwing some less than stellar girls and are doing them repeatedly. To give you an idea of what things you learn when you spend as much time down here as I do. Two years ago the drug dealers hide their stuff with the carts in the park. I come back and the drug dealers on the side of the church alleyway now hide their stuff at the side entrances to the church on the ground and put garbage or a rock in front of it. In the past guys asked if there is air conditioning in any of the ST hotels but nobody ever answers that I have read and you know everything. There was one when I left 2 years ago. In fact I had to ask them to turn it off because I was freezing. Not sure if they still have them because I have not returned to that one. But this trip there are 2 other hotels that have air conditioning on Carrera 53 (bar street). One on each side of the street at the mid-way point. I know because I had a girl in one and I could feel the cold air coming down the steps of the other one.

If a girl is decent looking (and she has to be in order to work Lleras and command gringo rates) she will have no problem getting at least 1 client per shift at 250-300 mil cop. If she is ugly or below average looking, she is at risk and better be sticking to her local clientele in Centro.

And the taxi money is not that much compared to what they can charge a gringo. I doubt it is more than 20-25 mil late at night, even if she lives far away. She can share the ride with another hoe and pay even less. If a girl can't get a customer, she can always lower her rate and get one, and still make enough to cover all her expenses, including taxi.

The exchange rate is back good again. I just went to Davivienda this morning and I was able to pull out $430 mil COP and I was charged $98.02 usd on my Capital One 360 checking account. And as always remember to decline the exchange rate that the ATM offers you as that is just throwing away money if you accept it.
