Am visiting Bangkok next week and planning a visit to Snow White (its close to my hotel) or another Oilie for the experience.
Quick Question: Do you get a BBBJ at an oilie? Or do the girls give FS only for the finale?
Most oilies [EZ being exception] offer everything, including 2 pops. But always best to confirm with the girl before you take her [BBBJ, anal, cim, etc. Etc]. There are quite a few oilies in same area as Snow White so check them all out...
Have a question I haven't been able to find an answer to. Do the massage joints in Bangkok accept credit cards, and if so, is it safe to use them there (e. G. Safe from skimming, false charges, etc.)? Thanks!
I don't think anyone ever uses CC!

Why would you?

Aside from the obvious safety risks, would you really want your statements and credit info showing payments to some of these lovely places of entertainment? In my many years of mongering I never really thought it was worth the risk but others may disagree.

What's the big deal? You think St Peter will go through your CC Receipts while you wait at the Gates?

Credit Card payment
Do the massage joints in Bangkok accept credit cards, and if so, is it safe to use them there (e. G. Safe from skimming, false charges, etc.)? Thanks!
I use CC's in high end soapies like La Belle, Macau saunas like Rio and East, and Manila KTV's like AF1 all the time. I never had a problem. But, I don't trust the oilies or Go Go's enough to give them my CC. Baccara for example will accept them as a form of payment for drinks and barfine. I am sure some large bar tabs are paid this way. I pay in cash at places where I generally spend less than 3000bt.
The statements show very discreet charges. You can't tell what the charge was for. As far as risk goes; what's more risky than carrying around a large amount of cash necessary to frequent these establishments (BKK soapies, Macau saunas, and Manila KTV's) or carrying a credit card? ATM's ? really. I don't think so.
why would you ever use cc?
Cash back on every purchase, airlines miles on every purchase, convenience, if my card is stolen I can cancel it without problem (try that with cash) , and if I have a problem I can dispute any charge after the fact (again, try this with cash).
And since I'm a grown man, I don't care what my statement says.
That's for the info. I assumed CCs would be okay (never a problem in Macau or Korea, though Korea does mark up for CC purchases) but I wanted to make sure there weren't any horror stories, especially involving skimming which is a pain to deal with.

After my first visit to LOS I got back to work and was called one day by my CC company (Visa). Apparently someone had tried to charge my card about 1900 USD on some website. They were asking if it was me. Hell no was the answer! There was only one possibility as I NEVER shop online with it. Either a supermarket or an Irish bar in BKK had done this. Card cancelled, charges reversed and new one came a day later. From that point on I NEVER use CC in Thailand at a store. If I do it is at an ATM inside a building to withdraw cash.

Do the girls / receptionists understand the acronyms or English or is it necassary to act out the requirements with sign language?
How many recommended oilies are there actually in that area?

I am in Thailand for over thirty years, I used the credit card everywhere, including in the oilies, and I never had any problems. Lately, as a precaution, in some not very reliable places, I use the prepaid card (debit card) rather than the credit card, that I load from time to time as needed.
On the contrary, I have a friend who hardly used a credit card and nevertheless has found his bank account reduced by half. He was repaid, but had big problems, and great fear.
Almost like the one that always fucks with prostitutes and never get sick and the other which goes fuck once and becomes infected. Rarely, but it happens!
Almost the same thing happened in my bank here at home. I check my account online almost every day and one day I found that there was one thousand euros missing. Immediately I called the bank and everything fell into place. But if I had not checked? Conclusion: do not trust, but not be too suspicious. The worst (or the best) can happen anywhere and at any time.
And since I'm a grown man, I don't care what my statement says.
I didn't say they don't accept CC, I said why use CC.
Reason is simple: I've had instances of CC being ripped off the instant I charge something. Happened twice when staying at Novotel Lotus Hotel years back. I didn't lose any money but had to spend time with the bank to file the paperwork to process fraud claim, get a new CC [which is a total pain in the ass since all automatic charges like amazon, paypal, etc. Now have to be changed].
Things have improved. When I entertain and have a large bill at a soapie, of course I resort to CC. But I try to pay cash whenever possible.

Yeah what the hell is up with that? I see so many falang walking around with girls who been beat with the ugly stick. Despite reading reports of hiso girls flocking to falang, I've never seen it! Either many liars out there or they have a problem discerning hookers from good girls hehe

"Never again!" Very good!
I know someone who never used a credit card, he always walks with cash in his pocket and........ his money was stolen (everything!) in a store while he was paying, using cash.
I forgot! This has not happened in LOS, but in Los Angeles (USA). Never use cash in the States again!!
