But last week I got a room on 6th floor with no A/C, only a floor fan. It's pretty cold at night anyway. I needed a blanket, not A/C at night.

There was no temperature control. The upper floors are rented to the girls. So they are fairly quiet. It is interesting to see some of them chill out by the elevators on their brakes. They look exhausted sometimes. Working the night owl shift must fuck up their clock.
