Havana

The same rule also applies to varadero but not as consistent as the cayos. Something which I don't quite understand the rational. I'm hearing that Cuba will open its borders for all come 1 September. Once that happens, you're good to go to come.

FYI, girls here are begging for citas at the moment. The casas are also back in business so I am spoilt for choice. Stay safe wherever you are!

Over the years of traveling to Havana, I have never seen anything like this. Also, on my last visit to Havana, I noticed a much greater military presences on the streets, especially at night. Have you noticed this? Any input? Your thoughts? BTW, the attached photo with the Cannon is from a couple years ago, it is now gone.

You know where we roll and our stomping grounds, so possibly they weren't in that area.

So far I haven't seen any military presence on the streets. However, I did notice more police on the streets, day and night. They are issuing tickets by the dozen I heard. Especially to those not wearing face mask and not complying with covid19 protocols. Situation is not great here. Some are saying its getting bad to worse. I just feel the same, perhaps maybe because we live in our bubble, away from the cuban reality. The only problem I'm facing this week is I can't get beers at any of the regular shops that I always go to. We'll see how it is next week. Girls, however, are in abundance as always.

Maybe it was nothing to worry about, but I did see the military convoy roll down Calle 10 in Vedado out to the Malecon at about 3 am on two different occasions, maybe it's normal, who knows.

I was having trouble finding beer as well, fortunately my Casa owner hooked me up with the local bootlegger, he could get anything you wanted, he was bringing me all the Crystal beer I could drink. It cost a little more, but it was worth it.

We have always been friends and nothing more, even though I fantasize about banging her. She said she is living on her savings and its getting low. She was a doctor student. She didn't make a money demand and I really think she is too proud to ask. I think over the next few months anyone with access to American dollars will be popular in Havana. I just read they are waiving the 10 % fee previously imposed on USD, for certain purchases in Cuba. Hang on guys this could get interesting.

Last November I was getting 1 to 1 on US dollars and heard that some were getting much better rates. That was right after they opened the stores that took dollars for high ticket items. It was 2015 and she said I would have to register guests and I explained that I don't date multiple women and the girls I date are good girls that don't want to be registered. She said okay and the first girl to visit was a girl I had been chatting with on the internet. Everything was cool she even let the girl use her brush to fix her hair. The next two girls became my long term guests so she became friends with them. Its kind of like she was glad that I was getting some pussy. Is it hard to find casa with wifi?[/QUOTE]You can get prepaid cards at the airport when you get to Cuba, or you can get your Casa owner to get them for you, or you can get them at the Melia Cohiba in Vedado, or you can get them at any ETECSA office scattered around Havana, but there will be a long waiting line at the ETECSA office.

Casa's with WIFI can be found, but usually very slow connection, I usually go set in the Melia Cohiba lobby for internet.

Before you rent a Casa, make sure you can actually stay there, from what I understand Havana is still under lockdown over this stupid virus and tourist are being confined to state run resorts like Veradero, and NO contact with the Cubans.

When returned in February and March 2020, it was down to 1. 08 cuc for every $1 usd. Looking forward to returning next month, rumor is that right now, it 1. 10 to every $1.
