General Info

After the trouble with the credit cards and Avianca, I read further and there are many customers complaining about Avianca. Plus the credit card representative said that they were having multiple problems with Avianca which was why the did not let the charge go through. My only experience with Avianca was ten years ago when I flew from Sao Paulo to Bogota. It was an excellent flight. The bankruptcy probably did them in.

Copa Airlines has been very reliable in the past. It seems as if they are always on time. But the difference in price between Avianca and Copa probably would have paid for all my Medellin adventures since I like to fly business class. Oh well. I am old. You can't spend it after you're turned into ashes.

Sprit asked for vaccine info, check MIG, and return reservation. In Colombia, customs asked for passport and vaccine card but no check MIG.

I did not fill out check MIG last trip and flew in on Viva to Medellin last time but Spirit was different.

They can see you are in the system and have already done it. When I arrived 2 weeks ago there were people at the immigration desk filling out the old paper forms because they had not done the Checkmig before arrival.

7 years ago, before OnlyFans, my experience in the DR was that for every hooker I found attractive, there were 2 who I considered fat. OnlyFans didn't cause that.

Sure lots of working girls decide to go on Webcam or start selling videos. Guess what they are doing 2 months later. The same thing they were doing before. The reason is simple. You can go back to any point in history and see that wealthy guys were lavishly spending on hookers. It's nothing new and 1% of the customers don't control 100% of the market. If you look at the big picture, prices in Medellin haven't gone up enough to complain about. In many circumstances they've gone down. The price at New Life 5 years ago was 45 k. Is it 65 k now? 5 years ago you got 2500 COP for $1, now you get 3800. Price went from $18 to $17. Fb, El Centro, actual cost has gone down. About the only spots where you will pay more now are La Isla, Fase 2 and Gusto.

If the mongering scene is dying in Medellin, it's news to me. Every day I've got girls trying to get on my schedule.
