I went to Attraction Spa 3 weeks ago located on Carrera 21 #53-35. There was a blonde Paisa there (19 years old). She had an 8. 5 face and a nice petite body. Session cost me 100 k. I went back there today to repeat but sadly it's now closed. A kid who works at the bakery next door said they moved somewhere else and doesn't know where.

Let me make it clear, I'm not complaining why people in Colombia speak Spanish. Who does that? I'm just saying as I have been to more than 10 non-English speaking countries, I always noticed people who are in sex industry can speak a little English even in Cambodia. Now you might say Colombia is different alright, it might be different, just say that! But you guys attacked me like I've complained about why they don't pay me to fuck them in ass.

Someone here asked about who attacked me, you are right you don't see those posts anymore because seems someone deleted them, they were written by Nyahbinghi83 and someone else.

I've met quite a few and found just about everyone to be decent guys.

However, most of us are rather blunt. That comes across as harsh, but it's not intended to be an attack. It's intended to be an eye-opener.

When I was 18 and fresh from boot camp, I went to Milwaukee with some friends. Drinking age was still 18 in Wisconsin. We started bar hopping and around 2 am I found myself alone in definitely the wrong part of town for a Wonder bread white, farm boy from the sticks. The bartender brought my beer and said something like "you don't want to stay here. " It was harsh. He wasn't trying to be mean. He was letting me know, I was about to become a victim. I covered about 20 blocks in record time.

If someone seems like they're being mean, it's probably because they see you setting yourself up for trouble.

How are you finding the exchange rate at the money changer in Bogota airport. The one that says no commission and is just before customs exit?

I'm considering bringing a wad of cash (1 k) with me to change just to limit the times I have to keep going to the ATM because of withdrawal limits.

If you're going to be in Bogota and want to exchange a lot of dollars, there's basically a money exchange mall. I believe it's around Calle 129 or somewhere in that area. Probably 25 or 30 exchange places all in one spot.

Make that Calle 127 at Carrera 15. Right across the street from CC Unicentro.

Oh yes, I never change money at the airport.
There might not be a commission charge, but I am sure the exchange rate will not be good.

The commission is in the appalling exchange rate you would get there. I honestly can't believe ANYBODY would change money at an airport, on a ferry etc, it's the same as burning money! Using an ATM is usually the cheapest way to get cash when abroad, aside from the low fees, the exchange rate will be the best available.

Well actually I can, because for some strange reason people still go to them. When I left Peru the other day heading to Colombia I wanted to change some Soles back to USD. The converter on my phone said $231. I figured I would accept $225. I got to the counter and that broad told me $214. No thanks!

Consequently, I need 2 million pesos in cash. The limits at the ATM machines mean I'll have a hard time getting that in one day.

Consequently, using a good exchange is the only way. If the rate is 50 pesos less I can live with it but 200 pesos less is a bit much.

BancoColombia is everywhere. Their limit is 600 k per withdrawal with a 13.2 k fee. Davivienda has no fees and limits it to 320 k. Banco Pichincha allows for 800 k with no fee but they're harder to find. When you use an ATM card you get the best possible conversion rate, which is very close to whatever the interbank rate is at that time.

Why do you also need to pay all 2 million at once? Pay half now and pay half later.

The famous Schwab card is very easy to get started with.

I feel like there are multiple ways to get around your problem. I assume after hearing all this you will stop using the airport exchange, but if you still plan to do that, the only thing I can think of is that you're purposely trying to screw yourself.

But in any ATM you can repeat as much as you want till reaching your personal limit of your credit card. You can also go to a Redy office or similar from Bancolombia, and get the exact amount of cash you need in one operation from your credit card. Actually there are a lot of solutions, wiring money and take it cash at the desk of a bank, specific web aplications such as N26, Monzo, Azimo or Transferwire and so on, but the worth is bringing cash dollar and change it in a casa de cambio.

On a similar topic, do pre-paid cash cards exist in Bogota / Colombia, that you can use in most stores / cafes? That you could buy and top up, with no bank account there. I'm asking because I don't like using cash in general, and using my credit card for small things would become exorbitant. I don't even know, are card payments even common there in stores / cafes etc?
