I was just hypothesising that it would be cheaper than a regular taxi or Uber based on the rates I have seen. For example in Cali I used a Picap moto taxi to get to the airport and it was 22 k while indriver and cabify were starting out at 60 k to 70 k.

My last trip the Nov before the pandemic ended up in Lleras mostly to dine, walk around and have some brews. I wasn't looking for any action one night but this gal suckered me and took her back to my hotel in Poblado. Damage not too bad ($75 US) however service not so good. Another trip I stayed in a hotel right off to the side of CC Oviedo and one night when walking back from Hard Rock saw three younger men that didn't look up to any good. That was in 2018 I believe.

The bus, uber, and didi are 24/7. Taxis are available but they will want to charge a premium at that hour. Have a safe and enjoyable visit.

If you go back to my first post ever you will see I paid 200 k to my first taxis because I didn't know any better.

Went to la isla at 11 pm November 3. They had an event. Egyptian theme.

It was the most packed I've ever seen. Cover was 70 k instead of the usual 50 k. So when they say the cover was 80 k that one time I believe it now. When I left at 2 am over heard English guy say they raised it to 75 k.

Talked to a guy while I was there. He was drinking coke I was drinking electrolit. Well off dude. Mate said he has no problem buying a bottle but even though there were some seats place was packed an he said he asked waiters if they would bring to a seat and bring him a bottle. He had no problem paying for the bottle but the waiters for some reason were saying nah. So mate left. No girls no drinks.

I asked the girl the best ass there to go upstairs she said later she got to get propina. I'm like ok I'll wait. She did 500 rounds asking for propina. It was like 5:30 I'm like fuck this I'm going to ask another girl. I did her before last year. He ass is smaller this time but she will do. She says the same thing. Got to get propina and do rounds. So I'm like if she's going to take two hours like the other girl I'm like I'll take that as a no.

There were no places to sit and waiters were removing individual people for bigger groups that would pay more. Some dumbass waiter came up to me and was like broski you got to gtfo because you haven't bought any drinks in the last 2 hours I'm like wtf you talking about I have this electrolit he's like buy something else or GTFO. I'm like I'm going to get a girl he's like what girls? Mate is trying usher me out and I'm like fuck off and I go to the bar to buy a Gatorade but the dumbass is following me and he's like nah you got to buy alcohol and I'm like I don't drink but I buy a tequila for 90 k. I'll say that again. 90 k I think it's usually 35 or 60 but maybe the event raised the prices or the bartender and waiter and trying to play me. I've never been had by the taxi drivers. I always use the white taxis outside and always confirm the price before I get in. I think last time was 98 K or something like that. I was just worried that ubers wouldn't be as plentiful in Rio Negro at that hour.

A US citizen who had arrived in the capital of Antioquia to celebrate his birthday was burned to death after suffering an accident in an apartment in El Poblado.

The tragic case occurred on October 27 in a building located on the fourth floor of the Chapelet building. That day Andrew Adesheye Shotoyo was in the apartment located on Calle 2 Sur and Carrera 18, LOS Naranjos neighborhood, visiting a friend who had invited him to the property.

Bad manipulation?

Based on a judicial report known to Q'HUBO, the wife of this 39-year-old foreigner's friend approached a fireplace that ran with alcohol. When she tried to light it apparently with gasoline, the flames reached the pimpina that she had in her hands. Out of her fright, the woman threw her, with such bad luck that she fell to the gringo and his companion.

The flames reached 40% of the American citizen's body and also caused serious burns to his friend, another man from the United States.

Both were helped by the people who were in the property and taken to a care center. Finally, Andrew Adesheye Shotoyo ended up in the burn ward of the San Vicente Fundacióand Hospital, receiving medical attention.

The man had to be intubated because the flames affected his airways. So after fighting for his life for 7 days, he died despite the doctors' efforts.

The death of this foreigner is added to that of another countryman that occurred last October 31 , in a hotel in Provence. That morning and in a bathtub, Jhony Jerome was found without vital signs. The causes of the death of this man, who was turning 45 that day, remained to be established.

The authorities are trying to determine if he died of scopolamination, since hours before he had been chatting with 2 women, or if his death was due to some other circumstance.
