Green. Media One. Media City
Girl friendly, no ID required. Stayed on a Thursday night, as we came in around 2 AM there was a clerk standing just inside of the doors. He said have a good night, and pointed in the direction of the lifts not the desk. On the following night he was not there, but I just went straight to the lifts, no troubles.
Are you sure they are local?
Dear ISG Members.
I keep seeing men in local dresses standing behind the reception desk on most of the famous 5 stars green hotels between 10 pm til morning! I have discussed this with my friends and WGs and they have noticed the same thing.
Any Idea?
I know that some hotels have staff (mainly Arabs from Yemen, or Egypt) dressed with local dress to serve coffee and offer dates. But in general they were a turban instead of the Agal (the black round thingy they put to hold the gutra). If you do think there are locals I see two possibilities. The first is that they are staff (which I doubt). And the other is LE.
Any Green around DIFC / Business Bay?
Was thinking it would nice to stay in one of the new hotels overlooking the canal, or maybe there Taj or the Ritz. Any advice?
Been told the JWMM is a no go. Surprises me to be honest.
Hotel near Hyatt's premiere club.
Does anyone know if any of these are GF or if anyone has any recommendations in the nearby areas, that would be good. I've stayed in Marriott executive suites before but they are very expensive.
Cheers.
Last night I picked an uzbick girl from abjar hotel, and she took me to her room in a hotel three blocks inside the dira area just opsit the Hyatt. We walked in she greeted the receptionist got her key changed, apparently she was locked out of her room before she left and was handed a new key, all of this while I just stood there and no question about me or my ID or what I was doing at 5 am following this girl into her room.
If this budget hotel is this cool with girls, I can imagine they would treat the guys even better. The reason I bring it up is because of its proximity to premiere at the Hyatt, and the fact that it was new and clean. I guess this could be a good choice for someone who can't take girls back to their home or hotel for privacy reason, but don't want to fork out big bucks for few hours activity.
The downside, it's tucked in a bustling street in a dira neighborhood that's full of regular people.
I'm not going to name the hotel till I get more qualifications about their policy and was this just an odd incident.
Media City. Media One Hotel
Hi folks,
I stayed at Media One hotel in the media city. Last year it was very green (except if you are waiting for an African lady! You have to go down and take her yourself to your room, personally find it embarrassing to me).
Anyways, this year I am supposed to stay for one month. So prefer to stay in a place more like hotel apartment (Or at least with Microwave and Refrigerator).
Any advise please?
Thanks.
