Hello brethren!

Returning to BKK this week, and just sending a Hello, of sorts to the regulars who banter on this board, and a thank you for the practical advice. I posted on the Pattaya board that I'm going to be there this weekend, Saturday-Monday, and would willingly spring for a round or two. Same deal applies for the rest of my time in BKK. As I said on the Pattaya board, don't worry, I'm not some desperate, clueless noob looking to follow someone around. I'm just content to meet up and shoot the sh! T for a while.

I've been to Thailand several times and yet (amazingly! ) this is my first trip to Pattaya! I'm actually hoping the vibe will be a little different from the scene in BKK, for someone who is more melaninly inclined. I'm Canadian, but of mixed East Indian/African origin. So to Thais I'm labeled a "kek", and it's a completely different story compared to you "farangs". I joke with my white friends when we've travelled together that they legitimize me. With some pretty good results. That being said, I'm not on a sex mission, I'd like to take in the scene sure, but a run on the bars with the boys wouldn't be so bad.

If y'all gentlemen are so disposed, I'm open to suggestions as to time and place to meet. Apologies to Jackson, I let my subscription lapse, been on lockdown for a while here in Korea. But now I am newly subscribed, so I might be sending out some PMs soon.

My stated ambitions for this trip:

1) Becoming a recreational Viagra user. The current discussion was a windfall, thank you for the tips.

2) Taking advantage of the benefits of my new drug habit at Eden Club (never been).

3) Being allowed into fine establishments such as Rainbow 2 in NEP, or the Nana Hotel Disco, without having to resort to my charm and North American accent.

4) Actually being able to sit and talk with a girl of choice in said establishments.

5) Reuniting with some "oldies but goodies", and finding some new friends (my new hero is the guy who kept a tally of his BBBA. Bareback batting average. Might be PMing him soon.)

For the viewing public, reports will follow. But like I said, anyone wanting to meet up either in Pattaya or BKK, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks again for the accumulated wisdom of these pages.

I hope you have a great trip! I was not impressed with my visit to Eden, in fact I almost took them up on the "if you do not enjoy the service its free" clause. But, my friend had the best time he has had there. I just saw nothing that I really enjoyed in the line up and was under the impression I had to pick something, which was a bad start. We got there around 8pm, and they said they were not overly busy. Only 3 on the left of the line, about 15 to the right side. I would say all closer to 30 than 20 if not slightly older, most in the 5-7 looks category. Now, the service was ok, I did not get CIM which was annoying as its clearly on the menu.

So, what I am saying is, YMMV. Go try it, you might love it! I thought I would too, just was not my cup of tea.

Thailand, for me, never again. Even then, it is, for tonight. But it's only a stopover. I will screw one or two pussies for sure because at the end of the day they are hookers and I am a John. I should be able to find "someone" with senses but it won't bother me if I couldn't.

Thailand is a lost cause. I don't intend to fight this fight. It's not mine. I will go where pussies are.

I should post this in the "Racism" thread. But, you may not read it. Your experiences as a "kaek" are a good example of the Thais not being able to see past the ends of their noses. A good many of them are at least as dark, and have features quite similar to those they describe as "kaek", not least because many, unbeknownst to them have some Indian blood flowing through their veins from centuries of intimate cross-cultural interchange. Therefore, I always find it disturbing and amusing all at the same time that this particular prejudice persists.

I've attached a pic from today's Nation of the Deputy Prime Minister (left) meeting the C-in-C of the army (right). Both of these gentlemen of HiSo status could easily be mistaken for "kaek", especially the deputy PM. Yet, somehow I doubt that either would have problems entering any establishment or garnering the girl of their choice.

Well, than I must have missed Soi 17. Soi 19 is right after Robinson Mall (with the McDonalds in the ground floor) coming from Nana and from Robinson Mall I headed towards Nana and after a view metre I past Thermae and as far I remember there were no other Soi between Robinson and Thermae.

Edit: Checked today again. Well the Drug Store is between Thermae and Robinson Mall. Between those is a small death end street, which looks like the way to Robinson Park House, but must be than Soi 17.

For Patpong it's absolutely right, but the good places have still customer. In Nana the most GoGos have reduced their Staff, inho and the most GoGos are almost empty. Good ones still have some life sign's like the Rainbow group, Mandarin and Mercury. But, of course not as full as in high season. In Cowboy I will only visit three bars now, Tilac (which is still very crowdy, difficult to get a seat there), Shark and Ex Long Gun.
The rest of the bars have only a few girls and few customer. The after hour places like Spice Club and Spicy are still full. Spicy especially since many of the expat sons, or foreign students go there.
I can't say that I saw more beggars like in November, also I did not see any violence or Thermae stunner with Farangs. I guess it would be a losing of face for a Thermae stunner to go with a Farang. It seems that there is a competition between the girls, just to go with Asian guys and the ones whose go with Farangs are not more playing in the first league. Only the older Hooker in Thermae approaches Farangs.
Well, for somebody who is happy with the average looking girls is now a good time. The pretty ones are now easier to approach, but they have still high prices.
Example: I were in Sharks yesterday when they closed at 1:40 pm. Before the most stunning one whose were still in the club made eye contact with me and came over after her dance round. My humble 2 balls.

I hear from many girls not only in Thailand, but also neighboring countries, that business is very low and customers are staying away. Stunners with experience in the business are still doing OK thanks to their regulars, but for the majority of the girls, times are really hard and they all worry about not earning enough to pay for their rent and food (not to speak of continuing to support their family). I always think, that in times like these, it is also our responsibility to support the ones, that have given us such a good time in the past, by continuing to pay normal prices or giving good tips. I know that this is against all market laws, but I am strongly against misusing the current situation for lowering prices below what we were willing to pay before for a good time.

I am only a very rare visitor to Bangkok and certainly do not want to give advice to all of you locals here, but I would nevertheless like to inform you about what a lot of my fellows in the Beijing forum did during the months before Olympic Games last year. At that time, the Chinese government was cleaning up the entire capital, leading to a massive crack-down of all our favorite venues and forcing many of our favorite providers either back home or going underground. Those amongst you familiar with the Beijing scene will know, that one of the Beijing specialties are the Mongolian girls, which are great providers and usually go to great lengths to really satisfy their customers - both in and outside of the bed. For those Mongolians who decided to endure the difficult times until after the Olympics, many of my fellow mongers set up a kind of supporting network, by either establishing contacts amongst fellow mongerers or adopting girls for the time, that they were without sufficient income.

The current situation is of course very different to what happened in Beijing last year, and I am certainly not suggesting that we should all adopt a local girl here. But just think of it next time, when you negotiate with a girl or pay a tip. We all know that they have not chosen this job out of passion and that they depend on our money, so let's not make their life even harder and pay them back a bit for all the pleasure that they have given us in the past.

NTW, sorry to hear that you had a bad time in LOS, I'm surprised that it wasn't good for you, most of the girls rate money & attitude as much more important than any other factor.

Well, Hendrik with all due respect, but I think you are wrong in your thoughts.
First of all the girls working in the p4p business have indeed choose that job, since it's not a big deal for them and it brings more money with less effort than the work in a textil factory, or on a rice field. Believe me there are enough part time hooker who have at daytime a normal job, even a office job.

Beside that you are right I am also full of compassion especially when I see the not so pretty girls in the p4p business whose have almost no customer. But, coming back to the prices, I don't think that they are low. 2000 or even 1000 for ST is 40 to 20 Euro and for that money I can have a ST even in Frankfurt with an Eastern European Hooker. I have 2 or 3 regulars in the Frankfurt brothels whose look real good (one from the Dominican Island, one from Turkey and one from Bulgaria) who do it for 25 Euro to 30 Euro. The Bulgarian even do anal and the girl from the Dominican Island DFK. And all are at least 7 to 8, much better looking than most of the Bargirls, which is not difficult.
So, I think the prices are still high and I think that the policy of tipping and overpaying will lead in less business for the Thai tourist industrie. Since people tend to go than in cheaper destinations. Imho, tipping and overpaying is not good, though I have to admit that I also use to tip, but with sense and not tipping 1000 Bhat for a girl whose provide a good service in a MP.

Well, they can choose to take a job that makes less money, requires their families to support themselves, and keep their dignity. I offer this example: I can get an academic appointment at a top-tier U.S. university, kill myself with a nasty publication schedule, and reap the money and prestige that goes along with it. Alternatively, I can take an appointment at a lesser school, teach (which is what I enjoy) rather than write, and make less money but have a fuller life.

Life requires choices. If one really feels for the life of these girls, give them the money and decline to sleep with them. Some do.
