Thanks for the report. I have tried to search and find the IBIS hotel you stayed in through the ibis website but not avail. Can you post the full name or website. I have not pmed this request because I think others would also appreciate this info.

Polar's nice map gave me the idea to post this version of a map, showing where The Palace is located (as well as the Ibis hotel), and showing the shortcut connection from the U-bahn stop and Königsberger Str.

I was at Palace early in August and again last weekend. One difference between the two visits is that there is now a sign posted prominently for people to read, both in German and English. I copied them both down quickly in my notebook (I am not sure of one of the German words, because I was writing these down rather quickly and cannot now read all of my own handwriting--for just one of the German words).
In typing this out here, since I don't have the two dots on my keyboard to go above vowels, I use ae for a with two dots and ue for u with two dots.
The German language sign is posted at the entrance, and near and in the locker rooms, as well as on the inside of each locker door, and reads as follows (I add the English translation below):
Die weiblichen Gaeste treten nicht als Mitarbeiterinnen des Palace mit den Maennlichen Gaesten in Geschaeftzbeziehungen, sondern als selbststaendige Unternehmerinnen im eigenen Namen und auf eigene Rechnung. Die Verguetung und die Art der Dienstleistungen werden ausschliesslich zwischen den maennlichen und weiblichen Gaesten geregelt, das Palace kann bei der Ausgestaltung (or is it Ausgestabung?) und deren Abwichlungen keinen Einfluss nehmen.
The English language translation is also posted at the entrance and a few other areas in/near the locker area:
Female guests don't have the right to conduct business with male guests in the capacity of The Palace employees. Consequently female guests should be self-employed and work on their own account. Any transaction between male and female guests should be strictly carried out between them and The Palace takes no part in it whatsoever.
It seems to me, they are saying that if there is a dispute over how much a man should pay the service provider, the man and woman have to settle the matter themselves, without getting the management nor front desk involved.

I think it´s more a legal issue.
It´s just to make clear that the women are working independently. Otherwise the club would be liable to pay their taxes and social insurance fees.
I can´t believe that the receptionist wouldn´t be willing to moderate a discussion between a female and a male guest about money...

Does this means that Palace also does not care if the girls are taking medical checks or not? So that they would be cleared from potential liability issues, if someone get STDs and sue the owner. I was just wondeing.
Does anyone know exactly what their policies are, in terms of medical checks. Is this mandatory? or they consider this as a common sense, so that they don't really enforce?

Medical checks are not mandatory any more in Germany. Some years ago it was a must for the girls to get validated by a medic every two weeks. Nowadays it is up to club to ask for a medical check. I do not now if the Palace wants to see such a paper from the girls, but I suppose they do not. Only a few clubs still do.
BTW: If you get STDs, you can only sue the freelancer (girl).

the german legal system is a lot different with liability issues than america. there isno way that anyone would ever even hear a case regarding getting std's, never ever, not even if you were raped. maybe that would be a criminal court issue. but in consensual, and probably even more so in pay sex, you know there is a risk.
any legal issue is not for liability in a civil case, but so the district attorney and police do not bust them.
this might be in relation to the reason why there was a dearth of girls in world.

I am suprised that you are not in Frankfurt now. I read on the German board yesterday that Mascha was to be found at the Palace at the moment and who knows how long she will be there.

Just walked by Palace today. There is some roadwork at the moment, which basically blocks the pathway straight from the U-Bahn to Königsberger Strasse (through the 3m wide opening in the wall).
No real problem, just head ca. 50m towards left/downtown and use the next pathway to the right, then walk back to Königsberger.
Just passed on the way to a meeting. I'm a local and infrequent vistor. Maybe I should check back and compare with my trip to indonesia ;) Yes maybe I should.
Fred, this was nice to see. I looked at some of the other clubs. The clarity of much of Germany is not so good, but Oase is right on the edge of an area of good resolution. You can see the tennis courts, the big house, and the garden area. FKKW has poor resolution.

From that shot, it is hard to recognize anything. Where are the streets?
My guess is that The Palace is not actually where the pointer is pointing in the pic, but actually to the left and down (SW from the pointer).
